Abstract: An optical module according to the present disclosure includes a first electro-optical device having a first light-emitting element emitting light including a first wavelength region, and a first light-emitting control transistor provided corresponding to the first light-emitting element, a second electro-optical device having a second light-emitting element emitting light including a second wavelength region shorter than the first wavelength region, and a second light-emitting control transistor provided corresponding to the second light-emitting element, and a prism configured to synthesize light emitted from the first electro-optical device, and light emitted from the second electro-optical device, wherein a first period in which the first light-emitting control transistor is in an ON-state in one frame is shorter than a second period in which the second light-emitting control transistor is in an ON-state in the one frame.

Abstract: A technique restrains degradation of a light emitting element. A biological information acquisition device acquires light receiving result by causing a light receiving unit to receive light emitted by a light emitting unit serving as a measurement-purpose light emitting unit, and acquires biological information by using the light receiving result.
