Abstract: A crosslinkable polyolefin composition includes: a) ≥60.0 wt. % and ≤99.0 wt. % of an ethylene alpha-olefin co-polymer; b) ≥1.0 wt. % and ≤35.0 wt. % of an ethylene-alpha-olefin-diene terpolymer; c) ≥0.1 wt. % and ≤5.0 wt. % of a crosslinking agent; with regard to the total weight of the polyolefin composition. A film includes the polyolefin composition. An encapsulated solar cell is encapsulated by at least two sealing layers each including such a film. In addition, a cured solar cell is obtained by subjecting the encapsulated solar cell under conditions of curing the sealing layers, a photovoltaic module includes the cured solar cell.

Abstract: A polyolefin composition includes: a) ≥65.0 wt. % and ≤94.0 wt. % of an ethylene alpha-olefin co-polymer (A); and b) ≥6.0 wt. % and ≤35.0 wt. % of an ethylene polymer (B). A foamed article contains such a polyolefin composition. The foamed article is obtained by compression foaming a foamable polyolefin composition or a foamable thermoplastic polymer composition. The foamed article can be used for improving the fatigue resistance and mechanical properties of midsole used in a footwear.
