Abstract:
A portable ice chest used for maintaining its contents in a cooled or frozen state for an extended period of time. The ice chest includes an insulated cover with an inner compartment and an insulated container with a bottom compartment. The cover is adapted to fit airtight upon the top opening of the container. To maintain the contents of the ice chest in a frozen state, a refrigerant coolant such as dry ice is placed in the inner compartment only. To maintain the contents of the ice chest in a refrigerated state, a refrigerant coolant such as dry ice is placed in the bottom compartment only. Additionally, when no dry ice is placed in either compartments, the present invention can be used as a regular ice chest.

Abstract:
A method of determining which of a plurality of electrical devices connected to a node of a circuit under test is causing a failure at that node by causing individual devices to drive the node one device at a time, taking passive voltage measurements at the node at separate times when individual devices are controlled to drive the node, and analyzing measured voltages resulting when different devices are driving the node to identify which is causing the failure.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of an apparatus and method for distributing print media are provided. In one embodiment, the apparatus for distributing print media includes an accumulator that is pivotable about an axis. The accumulator has a print media inlet, a print media outlet, and an actuator that pivots the accumulator about the axis.
Abstract:
Refractory oxide crystals having high-quantum efficiency and high thermal stability for use as broadly tunable laser host materials. The crystals are formed by removing hydrogen from a single crystal of the oxide material to a level below about 10.sup.12 protons per cm.sup.3 and subsequently thermochemically reducing the oxygen content of the crystal to form sufficient oxygen anion vacancies so that short-lived F.sup.+ luminescence is produced when the crystal is optically excited.
Abstract:
A crystal having a high-quantum efficiency and a long period of luminescence is formed of an oxide selected from the group consisting of magnesium oxide and calcium oxide and possessing a concentration ratio of H.sup.- ions to F centers in the range of about 0.05 to about 10.
