Abstract: A pressure and flow altitude compensated shut off valve includes a valve body, a valve element, and an altitude compensation pilot valve. The valve body has an inlet port, an outlet port, and a flow passage extending between the inlet port and the outlet port. The valve element is disposed within the flow passage and is responsive to fluid pressure at the inlet port to move between a closed position, in which fluid may not flow through the flow passage, and a plurality of open positions between the closed position and a full-open position. The altitude compensation pilot valve is coupled to the valve body and is responsive to pressure variations at the second port to control the fluid pressure at which the valve element moves to the closed and open positions.
