    摘要: A user equipment (UE) may map a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence to a first symbol in a set of resource blocks (RBs) of an uplink long burst, and the first symbol may occur at the beginning of the uplink long burst. The DMRS sequence may be “front-loaded” in the uplink long burst. The DMRS sequence may be dependent upon RB locations. When the DMRS sequence is mapped to the beginning of an uplink long burst, uplink control information (UCI) may be mapped in a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). A UE may map UCI in a PUSCH after the DMRS sequence is mapped to the beginning of the uplink long burst. When the base station receives an uplink long burst including the front-loaded DMRS and the UCI mapped in the PUSCH, the base station may identify the DMRS for channel estimation/interference cancelation of the UCI carried on the PUSCH.

    摘要: Wireless communication devices are adapted to facilitate non-orthogonal underlay transmissions. In one example, devices can receive a wireless transmission on a particular time and frequency resource including a first signal from a first wireless device and a second signal from a second wireless device. The first signal may utilize a first type of modulation for orthogonal wireless communication, and the second signal may utilize a second type of modulation non-orthogonal to the first type of modulation. The wireless communication device can decode the first and second signals. In another example, devices may transmit a first signal utilizing a first type of modulation over a time and frequency resource scheduled for a second signal from a second wireless communication device, the second signal utilizing a second type of modulation for orthogonal wireless communication, where the first type of modulation is non-orthogonal with the second type of modulation. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for processing reference and data signals for uplink transmission. A method is provided for wireless communications. The method generally includes obtaining different sets of samples for at least one of: a data signal or a reference signal; spreading the different sets of samples for the at least one data signal or reference signal using separate discrete Fourier transform (DFT) processing blocks; interlacing the spreaded sets of samples by assigning the spreaded sets of samples from each of the separate DFT processing blocks to equally spaced tones; and transmitting the at least one data signal or reference signal on the assigned tones in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) symbol.

    摘要: At times a UE may have a data transmission that needs to extend beyond a resource grant in an ULRB portion of a slot. The UE may receive resource region reservation information from a base station and determine when to extend an UL transmission from the ULRB portion of a slot into the ULCB portion of the slot based resource region reservation information. The resource region reservation information may indicate ULCB resources which are reserved for PUCCH, PRACH, PUSCH, SRS, or other transmissions. The UE may determine to refrain from extending the data transmission into the ULCB when at least a portion of the data transmission would overlap reserved resources as indicated by the resource region reservation information.
