Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a first device may transmit a signal to a second device including a number of error detection bits interleaved with a number of information bits. The second device may use the error detection bits to determine if the signal was received correctly, where each error detection bit may be associated with a set of information bits. The second device may progressively decode the signal and continuously perform an error detection calculation based on a first set of information bits associated with a first error detection bit. Based on the error detection calculation, the second device may calculate an expected error detection bit corresponding to the first error detection bit. The second device may compare the first error detection bit to the expected error detection bit. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a limit on a number of resource blocks (RBs) permitted to be used for a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmission by the UE; may determine, based at least in part on the limit, one or more parameters for the V2X transmission, wherein the one or more parameters include at least one of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for the V2X transmission, a number of transport blocks (TBs) for the V2X transmission, a number of RBs per TB for the V2X transmission, or a retransmission configuration for the V2X transmission; and may transmit the V2X transmission based at least in part on the one or more parameters. Abstract: Various aspects related to control channel (e.g., PSCCH) scheduling/prioritizing techniques in wireless communications are described. When a UE may not be able to decode various PSCCH transmissions detected in a subframe, a subset of the PSCCHs may be selected for decoding based on the described methods. In accordance with one aspect, a UE may determine that a total number of PSCCH transmissions in a subframe is greater than a number of PSCCH transmissions that can be decoded within the subframe. Upon such a determination, the UE may select at least one PSCCH transmission in the subframe for decoding based on at least one of: retransmission information, information regarding a transmitting UE associated with the at least one PSCCH transmission, or scheduling priority history associated with a sub-channel carrying the at least one PSCCH transmission. The UE may then decode the at least one PSCCH transmission selected for decoding.

Such a schedule for transmissions on subchannels of multiple frequencies may result in either an improved capacity utilization, an improved communication quality, or both.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive one or more transmissions from one or more UEs in a first slot, including a first transmission from a second UE. The first UE may receive the first transmission using a receiver configured with a first gain and may decode the first transmission. The UE may determine a correspondence (e.g., a temporal correlation) between the first slot and a second slot and may configure the receiver with a second gain at the beginning of the second slot based on the correspondence. The UE may determine that a total received signal power in the second slot is associated with the total received signal power in the first slot. The UE may decode one or more transmissions in the second slot based on the receiver having the second gain at the beginning of the slot.
