Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for tuning a transmit coil for operation in a plurality of frequency bands. In one aspect, a method of wireless power transmission is provided. The method includes exciting a first part of a wireless power transmission system, via a wireless power transmitter. The method further includes detecting, in the presence of a non-charging object, a first change in a first parameter. The first parameter is indicative of a coupling between the non-charging object and the first part. The method further includes varying a characteristic of the wireless power transmission based on said first change.

Abstract:
Systems, methods, and apparatus for overvoltage protection in a wireless power receiver are disclosed. One aspect of the disclosure is a wireless power receiver apparatus. The apparatus includes an antenna circuit configured to wirelessly receive power, from a transmitter, at a level sufficient to power or charge a load, wherein the antenna circuit is electrically connected to an overvoltage protection circuit that is electrically connected between the antenna circuit and the load. The apparatus also includes a matching circuit electrically connected to the antenna circuit and a switching element electrically connected to the matching circuit. At least one of the matching circuit or the switching element is configured to control an amount of the received power flowing into the overvoltage protection circuit.
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine at least one of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) parameter associated with the UE or a modem function associated with a modem of the UE. The UE may control a loop bandwidth of a phase-locked loop (PLL), used to generate a tunable radio frequency (RF) carrier frequency used by the UE to communicate synchronously with a base station, based at least in part on at least one of the OFDM parameter or the modem function. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for receiving power wirelessly. In one aspect, a receiver comprises an antenna that receives power wirelessly. The receiver further comprises a power circuit that operates according to a first frequency. The receiver further comprises a communication circuit that operates according to a second frequency. The receiver further comprises a circuit coupled between the antenna and the power circuit and the antenna and the communication circuit. The circuit comprises a first resonant network and a second resonant network. The circuit comprises a first path between the antenna and the power circuit via the first resonant network and a second path between the antenna and the communication circuit via the second resonant network. The first path has a higher impedance than the second path at the second frequency and has a lower impedance than the second path at the first frequency.
