    Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for efficient sidelink resource reservation based on the congestion on a sidelink. A wireless communication device may transmit control information indicating a number of resources reserved for an initial transmission and at least one retransmission of a packet. In some examples, the number of resources included in the control information can be either three resources or two resources based on the congestion. For example, the number of resources included in the control information can be three resources in response to a congestion value representing the congestion on the sidelink being less than a threshold. In addition, the number of resources included in the control information can be two resources in response to the congestion value being greater than or equal to the threshold.

    Abstract: A second wireless device may transmit, to a first wireless device, a feedback message indicative of a transition from a first compression state to a second compression state. The first wireless device may transition, based on a state change indication corresponding to the feedback message, from the first compression state to the second compression state. The first wireless device may transmit, to the second wireless device based on the transition from the first compression state to the second compression state, one or more first data packets that are previously compressed based on the first compression state or one or more second data packets that are uncompressed or recompressed based on the second compression state.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques and apparatus for a user equipment (UE) to delay RLC retransmissions (e.g., during off-durations, including CDRX off-durations). According to aspects of the present disclosure, a UE may delay triggering an RLC retransmission of an RLC PDU until after a next opportunity for the UE to receive an RLC ACK of the RLC PDU. By delaying RLC retransmissions, a UE may be prevented from waking up from one or more CDRX off-durations and using power associated with waking up from the one or more CDRX off-durations.

    Abstract: Apparatus and methods, in one or more aspects, provide for status report management of received data packets at a wireless device. The wireless device may determine that a first status report, generated in response to identifying a number of missing data packets within a sequence of a plurality of data packets received at the UE, includes information associated with fewer than the number of missing data packets. The wireless device may transmit the first status report. The wireless device may also disable a status prohibition timer in response to the transmitting based on the determination. The wireless device may transmit a second status report including information associated with a remainder of the number of missing data packets not included in the first status report.
