    Abstract: A method of controlling a radio-frequency (RF) transaction region comprises: determining a value of a characteristic associated with an ability of roadside equipment, associated with an RF transaction, to obtain information from a user equipment (UE) in the RF transaction region; determining, based on the value of the characteristic, a value of a parameter affecting the ability of the roadside equipment to obtain the information from the UE in the RF transaction region; and conveying the value of the parameter to the UE to affect transmission of messages from the UE to the roadside equipment.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Specifically, techniques for performing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-to-everything (U2X) registration procedures and well as techniques for updating U2X subscription data within the network are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, as part of a registration procedure between the UE and a network, capability signaling indicating a UAV-related category associated with the UE and a capability for the UE to perform sidelink communications to support UAV services. The UE may receive, as part of the registration procedure and based on the capability signaling, a registration acceptance message in accordance with a subscription associated with the UE. The UE may then communicate a sidelink message associated with the UAV services in accordance with the capability to support the UAV services and the subscription associated with the UE.

For instance, a network entity can transmit, to an aerial user equipment (UE), policy information associated with a communication interface of a wireless network.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aerial user equipments (AUEs) may indicate flightpath information to the network (e.g., to a serving network entity). A network entity may request a flightpath report, which may include a sequence of expected geographic locations. An AUE may include estimated timestamps and uncertainty values associated with each timestamp with the flightpath report. Accordingly, the network may manage communications resources for the AUE accounting for the time and associated uncertainty that the AUE will be at each indicated point along the flightpath. A network entity may indicate a filter to apply to the flightpath report, and accordingly the AUE may report the portion of the flightpath that is relevant to the given network entity. The AUE may report the flightpath using an algebraic expression to reduce the amount of data as compared to a flightpath report that includes a set of waypoints.

    Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for road usage charging. For example, a vehicle (e.g., using a vehicle computing device (VCD)) can receive an encryption key of a first charging entity and determine a first road usage charge associated with the first charging entity based on a first charge policy. The vehicle can determine a total usage charge (based on the first road usage charge) for road usage (e.g., associated with the first charging entity) and can encrypt the total usage charge based on the encryption key. The vehicle can determine information associated with the total usage charge and can encrypt the information associated with the total usage charge based at least in part on the encryption key. The vehicle can transmit the encrypted total usage charge to a first network entity and can transmit the encrypted information to a second network entity for verifying the encrypted total usage charge.
