    Abstract: Certain aspects relate to wireless communications between a wireless node and a network entity. In some examples, the wireless node may be configured to obtain, via a first link, a first signal comprising one or more packets, the one or more packets being less than a number of packets the apparatus expects from the first signal. In some examples, the wireless node may be configured to output for transmission, based on the one or more packets being less than the number of packets expected, a second signal via a second link based on one or more communication parameters associated with one or more of a radio metric or a flow-level metric.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may receive protocol data units (PDUs) in multiple TTIs (e.g., slots). The wireless communication device may generate, for each TTI of the multiple TTIs, a descriptor that identifies serial numbers (SNs) of PDUs that are received in the TTI. The wireless communication device may aggregate the descriptors for the multiple TTIs into an aggregated descriptor that identifies the SNs of the PDUs across the multiple TTIs. The wireless communication device may process the PDUs received in the multiple TTIs based at least in part on the aggregated descriptor. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a number of uplink grants from a base station. The method further includes estimating a payload size for data to be transmitted from a UE buffer for a number of logical channels. The payload size corresponds to a sum of a number of data bytes to be transmitted and an amount of overhead bytes to be transmitted. The method still further includes determining a subset of the number of uplink grants to use for uplink transmission based on reducing a total padding size associated with transmitting the payload size, for each combination of the number of uplink grants. The method also includes transmitting the data from the UE buffer within a number of transport blocks, to the base station. The number of transport blocks corresponds to the subset of the number of uplink grants.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a technique executed by a user equipment (UE) for obtaining a burst of transmission control protocol (TCP) packets conveying packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) protocol data units (PDUs) by an application protocol TCP layer of a communication protocol stack of the UE. The UE may then determine a first number of a first plurality of acknowledge (ACK) tokens to transmit in a first transmission time interval (TTI) based on an amount of data used to ACK the burst of TCP packets. The UE may then transmit the first plurality of ACK tokens in the first TTI and a single ACK token in a second TTI subsequent to the first TTI.
