    摘要： An assembly for controlling individual positioning elements in a delivery region of a sheet-fed printing machine, including at least one computer, at least one input device connected to the computer for inputting therein characteristic data specific to a sheet and/or to the printing machine, the computer having devices for further processing the characteristic data, and a control device operatively connected to the computer and having individual positioning elements for causing a format-dependent adjustment in accordance with the inputted characteristic data, the computer having devices for calculating, from the characteristic data, energy of the sheet oncoming to the delivery region and, in accordance with the calculated energy value, also for calculating an actuating value for at least one individual positioning element in the delivery region so that energy withdrawal by the individual positioning element is substantially equal to the energy of the oncoming sheet in the delivery region, the control device having devices for actuating the individual positioning element in accordance with the calculated value; and method of operation.

    摘要： Clamping and tensioning device for an inwardly bent trailing edge of a flexible printing plate disposed in an axial gap at the circumference of a plate cylinder adjustable in axial spacing and cooperating with a blanket cylinder, the printing plate being fixable at a leading edge thereof on the plate cylinder and being tensionable in circumferential direction on the plate cylinder, includes two clamping bars displaceably supported in the axial gap and forming therebetween a clamping slot for receiving therein an inwardly bent trailing edge of the printing plate, the two clamping bars extending axially in the gap within the cross-sectional contour of the plate cylinder and being loadable by reversible opposing clamping forces as well as by reversible tensioning forces in common in tensioning direction of the printing plate, and being respectively braced against the plate cylinder, the two clamping bars being formed with radially outer edges, the clamping and tensioning device being radially displaceably disposed in the axial gap of the plate cylinder, and a device for applying drive forces to the clamping and tensioning device for displacing the clamping and tensioning device with the radially outer edges of the two clamping bars radially outwardly at least to the cross-sectional circumferential contour of the plate cylinder, with the clamped bend of the trailing edge of the printing plate being displaceable back within the contour of the plate cylinder.

    摘要： Ink duct for offset or letterpress printing machines has an ink metering device by which a respective ink gap is adjustable zonewise in the axial direction of an ink duct roller. The ink metering device has metering elements pressable against the ink duct roller through the intermediary of a foil covering the metering elements, the foil being fastened so as to be movable tangentially to the ink duct roller. A device is provided for holding the foil, and an adjusting device is coupled with a motorized drive an engageable with the foil holding device for progressively moving the foil tangentially to the ink duct roller at a substantially uniform feed rate so as to dispose succeeding locations of the foil at a given distance from the ink duct roller corresponding to the width of the respective ink gap.
