Abstract:
A cyclone separator (1) has a vertically extending housing (2) with an upper housing segment (3). A separator (6) with a separator wheel is located in the upper housing segment along with a carrier gas/product inlet (7), and a carrier gas/fines discharge (8). A lower housing segment (5) is equipped with a coarse grain discharge (14). In order to increase the operating range of the cyclone separator, the lower opening of the central built-in element (10) is located at the level of the conical middle housing segment (4) and that below the lower opening is disposed a conical built-in element (11), which has the shape of a cone expanding in downward direction.
Abstract:
A cyclone separator (1) has an elongated vertical housing (2), whose upper section (3) is equipped with a carrier gas/product inlet (4), a separating wheel (6), and a carrier gas/fine product discharge (7). A lower section (9) of the housing defines an oversized product discharge (11). The housing (2) has a central axially extending built-in unit (12), which separates the cyclone carrier gas/particle flow stream, downwardly in a peripheral region, and upwardly in a central region. A lower built-in unit section (14) is joined to a cylindrical middle built-in unit section (15). An entry area of the middle section (15) is equipped with a constrictor (19) which with the built-in body forms a Venturi. Finally, a secondary air supply (24) enters into a lower inlet opening (9) of the lower built-in unit section (14) facing the constrictor (19). An injector effect is achieved which increases the suction, resulting in further improvement of the separating and sorting properties.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a solution of a polyacrylate resin in one or more organic solvents, containing one or more phosphites, characterized in that the solution contains from 0.05 to 1.0% by weight, based on the solids content of the acrylate resin solution, of one or more phosphites and in that the phosphite has been added, either partially or entirely, after the polymerization reaction, at a temperature below the polymerization temperature. The present invention further relates to coating compositions which contain these polyacrylate resin solutions, their use in processes for producing a multilayer protective and/or decorative coating on a substrate surface, and the use of the coating compositions in the automotive refinishing sector.
Abstract:
For winding webs of material on cores winding machines have two support rollers on which the winding rolls are supported during winding. The web is guided from underneath through the gap between the support cylinders. When the winding rolls are exchanged, for the cutting of the web a cutting knife with a tear-off blade is raised through the gap between the support cylinders up to the cylinder bed. In order to reduce the bearing load of the winding rolls on the support cylinders in the lower wedge between the two support cylinders an air box extending over the work width and having a compressed air supply line is provided, which seals the gap between the support cylinders and has an air exit slot open towards this gap. The tear-off blade of the cutting knife is attached to a support arranged in the air box and can be moved up and down through the air exit slot into the cutting position in the cylinder bed and completely lowered into the air box.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to coating agents containingA) one or more polymers containing carboxyl groups and having a number-average molecular weight of 500 to 8,000 and an acid number of 15 to 200 mg of KOH/g as the essential binder component andB) one or more compounds containing epoxide groups as crosslinking agents, wherein the compound B containing epoxide groups is a copolymer containing epoxide groups, has a number-average molecular weight M.sub.n of 300 to 5,000, preferably 500 to 3,500, and a heterogeneity (M.sub.w /M.sub.n), measured by gel permeation chromatography, of .ltoreq.3, preferably of .ltoreq.2, and has been prepared by continuous bulk polymerization at temperatures between 130.degree. and 350.degree. C. and pressures above 1 bar.The invention also relates to processes for the preparation of the coating agent and the use of the coating agents in automobile refinishing.

Abstract:
Disclosure is directed to an apparatus for producing a microwave dischargen a supersonic gas flow such that the available microwave energy is deposited in the gas as completely and uniformly as possible through a substantial cross-section of the flow channel. The flow channel is provided within a waveguide and microwave energy is caused to be propagated through the waveguide substantially in the direction of the gas flow. A supersonic nozzle is provided in the channel dividing the channel into an upstream plenum and a downstream low pressure region, and the electric discharge occurs in the low pressure region just beyond the nozzle throat.
