A mass of the acid component in the solute is greater than a mass of the base component in the solute. The acid component contains a first aromatic compound having a hydroxyl group.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and a liquid component. The capacitor element includes an anode body that includes a dielectric layer on a surface of the anode body and a conductive polymer that covers a part of the dielectric layer. The liquid component includes a sugar alcohol component and a polyalkylene glycol component. The sugar alcohol component contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a sugar alcohol having four or more hydroxy groups and a derivative of the sugar alcohol.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and electrolytic solution. The capacitor element includes an anode body with an oxide film, and a solid electrolyte contacting the oxide film. The electrolytic solution contains a solvent and a solute. The solvent contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a lactone compound, a glycol compound, and a sulfone compound. The solute includes a first acid component and a base component. The first acid component includes at least one of a benzenedicarboxylic acid and a derivative of the benzenedicarboxylic acid. The base component includes at least one of an amine and an amidine. A concentration of the solute in the electrolytic solution ranges from 15% by mass to 40% by mass, inclusive. A ratio (V/Vw) of a formation voltage V of the oxide film to a rated voltage Vw of the electrolytic capacitor is less than or equal to 1.7.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electrolytic capacitor including: a capacitor element including a pair of electrodes; an electrolyte interposed between the pair of electrodes; a pair of leads electrically connected to the pair of electrodes, respectively; a case in which the capacitor element and the electrolyte are accommodated, and that has an opening; a sealing member that seals the opening, and has a pair of insertion holes for leading out the leads; an insulating plate having a pair of through holes for leading out the leads; and a resin member filled between the sealing member and the insulating plate, wherein the insulating plate has a resin bonding surface that abuts against the resin member, and a mounting surface opposed to the resin bonding surface, and includes at least one protrusion or recess on the resin bonding surface.

The polyalkylene glycol includes at least one of (i) a mixture of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene and (ii) an oxyethylene-oxypropylene copolymer. In the polyalkylene glycol, a molar ratio m/n of oxyethylene units to oxypropylene units is greater than 1.

The liquid component is in contact with the dielectric layer and the solid electrolyte and contains a solvent and an acid component. The acid component contains a first polymer acid component including a sulfonic acid group or a carboxylic acid group.
