Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image by receiving incident light to generate image data; an adjuster that adjusts a light reception rate in each position on an incident surface entered by the light and corresponding to an image indicated by the image data, the light reception rate allowing the image sensor to receive the light; a detector that detects a skin region corresponding to a part with skin of a subject indicated by the subject image in the image; and a controller that controls the adjuster to render the light reception rate in a position corresponding to a part of the image on the incident surface different from the light reception rate in another position thereon, wherein the controller compensates exposure of a part corresponding to the skin region detected by the detector to bring luminance in the skin region within a predetermined range.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image by receiving light of a plurality of colors, to generate image data; a controller that controls the image sensor; and an adjuster that adjusts a light reception rate, in each position on an incident surface, the light reception rate allowing the image sensor to receive the light color by color, the incident surface being entered by the light corresponding to an image represented by the image data. The controller controls the adjuster to render the light reception rate of a specific first color in a position corresponding to part of the image on the incident surface different from the light reception rate of a first color in other positions, and causes the image sensor to capture the image with the light reception rate of the first color rendered different by the adjuster, generating image data representing the image.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus system includes: one or more image sensors; an interface device for acquiring data; a storage; and one or more signal processing circuits. The one or more image sensors generate video data by capturing images. The interface device acquires at least one of audio data acquired during image capturing and biometric data that is biometric information of a user acquired during the image capturing. The storage records a data set in which at least one of the audio data and the biometric data is correlated with the video data. The one or more signal processing circuits determine an emotion the user felt regarding an event that was occurring at the time of the image capturing, using at least one of the video data, the audio data, and the biometric data, and that execute an image editing process on the video data depending on the determined emotion.
