Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image by receiving incident light to generate image data; an adjuster that adjusts a light reception rate in each position on an incident surface entered by the light and corresponding to an image indicated by the image data, the light reception rate allowing the image sensor to receive the light; a detector that detects a skin region corresponding to a part with skin of a subject indicated by the subject image in the image; and a controller that controls the adjuster to render the light reception rate in a position corresponding to a part of the image on the incident surface different from the light reception rate in another position thereon, wherein the controller compensates exposure of a part corresponding to the skin region detected by the detector to bring luminance in the skin region within a predetermined range.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an image sensor, a controller, and a user interface. The image sensor captures a subject image to generate imaging data. The controller performs repair processing to generate a moving image file from a corrupted file, the moving image file being capable of reproducing a moving image indicated by the imaging data, the corrupted file having a defect as the moving image file. The user interface inputs a user operation related to the repair processing. The controller receives a user operation selecting a specific corrupted file from one or more of corrupted files via the user interface, and performs the repair processing on the selected corrupted file in response to the user operation.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus system includes: one or more image sensors; an interface device for acquiring data; a storage; and one or more signal processing circuits. The one or more image sensors generate video data by capturing images. The interface device acquires at least one of audio data acquired during image capturing and biometric data that is biometric information of a user acquired during the image capturing. The storage records a data set in which at least one of the audio data and the biometric data is correlated with the video data. The one or more signal processing circuits determine an emotion the user felt regarding an event that was occurring at the time of the image capturing, using at least one of the video data, the audio data, and the biometric data, and that execute an image editing process on the video data depending on the determined emotion.

Abstract: A signal processing device includes an input interface, an image processor, an audio processor, and a controller. The input interface receives signals of a video and an audio acquired concurrently in a space where subjects exist. The image processor recognizes subject images in the video, to determine a first type of area where each subject exists. The audio processor recognizes sound sources in the audio, to determine a second type of area where each sound source exists in the space, independently of the first type of area. The controller uses the first and second types of areas to judge coincidence or non-coincidence between a position of the each subject and a position of the each sound source, to determine a combination of a subject and a sound source whose positions coincide with each other. The controller selectively determines the subject image to be output that corresponds to the combination.
