Abstract: A detection apparatus that includes correlation processing systems that each find a correlation between a predetermined code sequence and a wave detection signal obtained by detecting a phase-modulated input wave at a frequency different from a frequency used by a different one of the correlation processing systems, and thereby generate a correlation signal, level reduction processors that each receive the correlation signal from a corresponding one of the plurality of correlation processing systems and reduce a level of the received correlation signal when the correlation signal is not to be used for detection of the target or do not reduce the level of the received correlation signal when the correlation signal is to be used for detection of the target, and a detector that detects at least presence or absence of the target based on the correlation signal processed by each of the plurality of level reduction processors.

Abstract: A radar device includes: a transmission beam controller that selects, every first period, a transmission beam set used for transmission of a radar signal from among a plurality of transmission beam sets each including at least two transmission beam directions; and a radar transmitter that transmits the radar signal in a predetermined transmission period by using the selected transmission beam set, wherein the transmission beam controller switching, every second period within the first period, among the at least two transmission beam directions included in the transmission beam set.

Abstract: A detection device includes: a first correlation circuit that computes correlation of a first wave detection signal, which is a phase-modulated input wave detected at determined frequency, with a determined code sequence for every code composing the determined code sequence, and to generate first correlation signals the number of which corresponds to a code sequence length, which is a length of the determined code sequence; and a control circuit that rotates phases of the first correlation signals, generates an added value by adding the phase-rotated first correlation signals, and determines based on the added value whether the phase-modulated input wave is a return wave from a determined object.

Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus includes multiple antenna devices, a signal generator, a phase shifter, a phase controller, and a quadrature error corrector (phase error corrector and amplitude error corrector). The signal generating circuitry, in operation, generates an IQ signal having an I signal and a Q signal. The plurality of phase shifting circuitry provided for each of the plurality of antenna devices, in operation, generates a plurality of combination signals by combining the I signal and the Q signal based on a predetermined combining scheme. Abstract: A ranging device includes transducers, a transmission circuit, a reception circuit, a transfer data generation circuit, and a transfer circuit. The transmission circuit causes the transducers to transmit transmission waves. The reception circuit outputs a received signal obtained by digitizing a reflected wave of the transmission wave with a sampling frequency equal to or more than a frequency of the transmission wave. The generation circuit separates, into a target period and a non-target period, time-series received signals. The target period is a period in which a wave height is equal to or more than a threshold. The non-target period is a period in which a wave height is less than the threshold. The generation circuit performs thinning-out processing on received signals in the non-target period and generates waveform information indicating a waveform received by the transducer. The transfer circuit outputs the waveform information.

Abstract: A radar device employs a configuration provided with: a receiver which, in operation, receives one or more radar transmission signals transmitted from another radar device, in an interference measurement segment in which transmission of a radar transmission signal from the radar device is stopped; A/D conversion circuitry which, in operation, converts the one or more radar transmission signals from the other radar device received by the receiver from one or more analog signals into one or more digital signals; and an interference detection circuitry which, in operation, performs a correlation calculation between each of one or more discrete samples that is the one or more digital signals and a prescribed coefficient sequence to detect one or more prescribed frequency components included in the one or more digital signals, as one or more interference signal components.
