Abstract:
A description is given of a one-component tissue adhesive containing, in aqueous solution, fibrinogen, F XIII, a thrombin inhibitor, prothrombin factors, calcium ions and, where appropriate, a plasmin inhibitor and of a process for the production thereof. This adhesive can be reconstituted from a freeze-dried form with water. It can contain all active substances in pasteurized form and is then free of the risk of transmission of hepatitis and HTLV III.

Abstract:
A solid fibrinogen formulation is described, which formulation contains, in addition to fibrinogen, a substance containing the urea or guanidine radical, and a process for its preparation. This formulation is used for the preparation of a fibrinogen solution which is suitable as an adhesive for human and animal tissue and as a fibrinogen concentrate for intravenous administration.
Abstract:
An agent for determining ristocetin cofactor (v.Willebrand factor) is described, which contains platelets which have been treated with a tanning agent, with a protease inhibitor and, optionally, with a dye-stuff, and ristocetin A.
Abstract:
A process for the production of an unnative and biologically active bonded collagen fiber sheet from human placentae is described, in which process collagen-containing material from placentae is treated with a neutral salt solution, a solution of citric acid and with pepsin. The degraded collagen material obtained in this manner is, where appropriate, treated with a crosslinking agent. The collagen material produced in this manner is used for producing bonded collagen fiber sheets which can be used, for example, as covering for wounds.
