Abstract:
A process and tool for producing a composite body part for a motor vehicle, especially for producing a roof module, the tool having a first tool part and a second tool part which are movable relative to one another. The outer skin is inserted in the first tool part, at least part of the peripheral edge area of the side of the outer skin facing the first tool part being moved into sealing contact with a seal arrangement which is provided on the first tool part, plastic material is applied to the side of the outer skin facing away from the first tool part, the second tool part provision shaping the plastic material, and the composite body part being released from the seal arrangement and removed from the tool.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a roof module for a vehicle with an outer skin (12), on the inside of which a support structure (14) containing plastic material is integrally formed, the support structure being provided on its inside with an adhesive surface (18) which is designed for resting on the edge (22) of an opening in the bodywork in order to be adhesively bonded to the vehicle bodywork. According to the invention, the support structure (14) is provided with an undercut (24) between the adhesive surface (18) and the outer skin (12). The invention furthermore relates to a corresponding method of production.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for production of a composite chassis piece (16, 28) for a motor vehicle, in particular, for production of a roof module in a tool (10), comprising a first (14) and a second tool part (12) which may be adjusted relative to each other. An outer skin (16) is laid in the first tool part, at least one part (24) of the circumferential region (22) of the side of the outer skin facing the first tool part is tightly inserted in a sealing arrangement (18) provided on the first tool part, plastic material (28) is applied to the side of the outer skin facing away from the first tool part, whereby a shaping of the plastic material is performed by the second tool part and the composite chassis piece is released from the seal arrangement and removed from the tool. The invention further relates to a corresponding tool.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a wind deflector for a roof opening, which can be closed and opened, in a roof panel of a vehicle. According to the invention it is contemplated that an elastic element, which is fixed with respect to the frame of the roof opening, engages on the wind deflector arm and applies a force thereon in of the longitudinal direction, and an arm, which at one end is connected to the wind deflector arm rotatably about the transverse direction, is mounted at the other end rotatably with respect to the frame of the roof opening in of the transverse direction. The invention further relates to a method for actuating a wind deflector.
Abstract:
A wind deflector arrangement for a roof opening, which can be closed and opened up by way of a cover, in a roof panel of a vehicle. The wind deflector can have a frame which is designed to at least partially surround the roof opening, a wind deflector hoop which is coupled to the frame such that the wind deflector hoop is rotatable relative to the frame and the roof panel about a first axis of rotation, a support element which is coupled to the wind deflector hoop and to the frame such that the support element can rotate about a second axis of rotation during a first segment of the movement of the wind deflector hoop relative to the frame and can rotate about a third axis of rotation, which differs from the second axis of rotation, during a further segment of the movement.

Abstract:
This invention relates to a shade arrangement for a motor vehicle with at least two shades having lengths of shade material (10a, 10b), which are located next to one another and to one end of which a respective pull (14a, 14b) is attached. Both of the lengths of shade material (10a, 10b) are drawn out and taken up in the same direction at their opposite end from/onto a common roller tube (12) which is pretensioned in the take-up direction.

Abstract:
A shade system for a motor vehicle roof, with at least one first and one second shade arrangement which are arranged in line with one another in the lengthwise direction of the roof and each have a take-up shaft, a shade on which can be taken up thereon, and a pull which acts on the free end of the shade, and at least one compressively stiff drive cable which is driven by a drive and which is securely coupled at a first location to the pull of the first shade arrangement. The drive cable is securely coupled at a second point to the pull of the second shade arrangement in a first segment of motion of the second point and in a subsequent second segment of motion of the second point is decoupled from the pull of the second shade arrangement, the coupling or decoupling taking place automatically a locking element.
