摘要： A silver halide photosensitive material comprises a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support. The photosensitive material has a layer comprising an emulsified dispersion containing a surfactant represented by formula (I), and an emulsion containing tabular silver halide grains having an average aspect ratio of 8 or greater, and at least one sensitizing dye. (R1—LnJA)m General formula (I) wherein A represents an acid group or a metal salt thereof, R1 represents an aliphatic group containing a linear aliphatic group having 6 or more carbon atoms as a partial structure thereof and having the total number of carbon atoms of 17 or more, L represents a bivalent group, J represents a linking group of n+m valence, n is an integer of 1 to 6, and m is an integer of 1 to 3. The molecular weight of surfactant of the formula (I) divided by m is 430 or greater.

摘要： A color diffusion transfer film unit and an image formation method using the same are disclosed, in which a light-sensitive material containing a specific sulfonamide compound of formula (I) and a specific tertiary amine compound of formula (II) is processed with an alkali processing composition containing a specific tertiary amine polymer. The film provides a transferred color image having a high density with reduced dependency on processing time, and suppresses changes in density of the resulting image with time after processing.

摘要： Disclosed is a thermally processed image recording material having an image-forming layer that contains a non-photosensitive silver salt of an organic acid, a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder on a support, wherein the binder is coated as a dispersion of polymer microparticles having a core/shell structure, glass transition temperature of shell part of the core/shell structure is higher than glass transition temperature of core part, and the binder shows a minimum film-forming temperature of 30° C. or lower. According to the present invention, there is provided a thermally processed image recording material that provides improved image storability after heat development, i.e., improved coloration of white portions when the material is left at a high temperature, and has a transparent coated film with low haze that is also excellent in brittleness.

摘要： A silver halide photographic material comprises at least one silver halide emulsion layer provided on a support. The silver halide emulsion layer contains a color coupler. According to the present invention, the color coupler is contained in particles of a specific polymer dispersed in the silver halide emulsion layer. The specific polymer comprises repeating units represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is hydrogen, a halogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; each of R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 is an aliphatic group or an aromatic group, or R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are combined with the oxygen atoms and the phosphorus atom to form a heterocyclic ring; and L is a divalent linking group selected from --CO--, --O--, --S--, --NR.sup.4 --, --SO.sub.2 --, a divalent aliphatic group, a divalent aromatic group and a combination thereof, and R.sup.4 is hydrogen or an aliphatic group.
