    摘要: An image forming method comprising the steps of: (a) superposing a heat development photosensitive material on a sheet after or simultaneously with imagewise exposing the heat development photosensitive material, wherein the photosensitive material comprises a support having thereon at least a photosensitive silver halide, a hydrophilic binder and a slightly water-soluble basic metal compound, and the sheet comprises a support having thereon at least a compound which forms a complex with the metal ion constituting the basic metal compound, a solvent for a silver halide and a physical development nucleus; and (b) heat developing the laminate in the presence of a reducing agent and water to form an image on either or both of the photosensitive material and the sheet, wherein the reducing agent comprises a 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidone compound and a dihydroxybenzene compound having an inorganic value of not less than 215 and an organic value of from 120 to 400.

    摘要: There are described a diffusion transfer photographic film unit of the type wherein an image-receiving element is designed to be separated from a photosensitive element after photoexposure and processing and a photographic process which utilizes the film unit. The photographic film unit comprises a photosensitive element including a support carrying at least one silver halide emulsion, an image-receiving element comprising a support, an image-receiving layer and, optionally, an overcoat layer and/or a strip-coat layer. At least one of the image-receiving layer, overcoat layer or strip-coat layer includes a "crosslinkable material" which is crosslinked during processing. The film unit further includes means for providing an aqueous alkaline processing composition to the photosensitive element and the image-receiving element for developing an image. The aqueous alkaline processing composition includes a borate compound for crosslinking the crosslinkable material of the image-receiving element during processing.

    摘要: A process is disclosed for forming a color photographic image comprising the steps of:(a) providing an integral element comprising one and only one dimensionally stable layer comprising a reflection base or transparent base coating support, and coated thereon in reactive association an imaging layer comprising radiation sensitive silver halide, a diffusible dye forming layer comprising a diffusible dye forming compound, and a barrier layer overlaying said diffusible dye forming layer;(b) exposing this integral element to actinic radiation(c) processing this integral element by contacting this element to an external bath containing compounds selected from the group consisting of color developer compounds, compounds which activate the release of incorporated color developers, and compounds which activate development by incorporated dye developers; and(d) washing this integral element to remove compounds imbibed in step (c). The diffusible dye forming layer is the same or different than the imaging layer. The barrier layer comprises a polymer that allows the passage of solutions for processing this integral element when this element is contacted with an external processing bath. This barrier layer impedes the diffusion of the diffusible dye formed from the diffusible-dye forming compound out of this integral element.

    摘要: Copolymeric mordant materials containing recurring units according to the following formula are disclosed: ##STR1## In such copolymers, each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 can independently be alkyl; substituted-alkyl; cycloalkyl; aryl; aralkyl; alkaryl; or at least two of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, together with the quaternary nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, can complete a saturated or unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring; X is an anion; each R.sup.4 is alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; R.sup.5 is a divalent alkylene of from 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R.sup.6 is hydrogen, amino, phenyl or alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sup.7 is hydrogen or methyl; and m is an integer 1 or 2. The molar ratio of a:b can range from about 0.1:1 to about 10:1, e.g., about 0.3:1 to about 3:1.The copolymeric mordant materials can be utilized as image-receiving layers in photographic products and processes of the diffusion transfer type. The mordants are especially adapted to the production of dye images exhibiting favorable maximum density (D.sub.max) and rates of dye transfer properties.
