    Abstract: It is impossible to individually identify management target articles in a conventional article management system. An article management system according to the present invention includes a reader antenna that transmits and receives a radio signal; a plurality of tag sheets each including an RF tag and placed on the reader antenna; an RFID reader that reads tag information unique to the RF tag via the reader antenna; and an identification mark attached to each of management target articles and arranged between the management target articles and each tag sheet. On a surface of the identification mark that faces the tag sheets, an identification pattern for identifying the identification mark is formed of a first pattern and a second pattern having a dielectric constant or conductivity lower than that of the first pattern.

    Abstract: A UHF band RFID system according to the present invention includes a reader antenna that is composed of a matched-terminated open-type transmission line and is connected to a UHF band RFID reader, a first-type RFID tag installed, without being fixed to a managed object, in a managed object placement area in which the managed object is placed, and a second-type RFID tag that is fixed to the managed object and includes tag information for identifying the managed object. When the managed object is placed in the managed object placement area, the managed object is placed in a position where the reader antenna and an antenna of the first-type RFID tag are electric field coupled, and is also placed in a position where the reader antenna and an antenna of the second-type RFID tag are magnetic field coupled.

    Abstract: A transmitter includes: a transmission circuit that outputs, via a transmission amplifier, transmission signals of a same frequency band; and a feedback circuit that feeds back, to the transmission circuit, a distortion compensation coefficient that is used to compensate for distortion of the transmission signals. The feedback circuit includes: a delay circuit that delays each of the transmission signals by a different amount of time; a combining unit that combines the delayed transmission signals to generate a combined signal; a signal conversion unit that converts a frequency of the combined signal to a different frequency using a local signal that is common among the transmission signals, and generates a demodulated digital signal from the combined signal of which the frequency has been converted; and a distortion compensation calculation unit that calculates the distortion compensation coefficient based on the demodulated digital signal.
