Abstract: In a DC-DC voltage conversion device, overheat of a diode element connected in anti-parallel with a semiconductor switching element is a problem, and in order to resolve this, a temperature of a semiconductor switching element of a main conversion circuit is detected, a temperature of a diode element connected in parallel with the semiconductor switching element is calculated using a correction calculation of the detected semiconductor switching element temperature value in accordance with a step-up ratio of the DC-DC voltage conversion device, and diode element overheat protection is carried out in accordance with the calculated temperature value.

Abstract: To provide a controller for AC rotary electric machine which can compensate error of the actual on-duty with respect to the command on-duty calculated from command voltage with good accuracy, with a simple circuit configuration. A controller for AC rotary electric machine detects an actual on-duty of the switching device based on the detection value of the midpoint potential which is the potential of the connection node of the series connection in the series circuit; calculates an on-duty error based on the difference between the command on-duty and the actual on-duty; and corrects the voltage command or the command on-duty based on the on-duty error.

Abstract: An environment sensor is mounted on a second surface of a circuit board that does not have a wire bonding pad, and is arranged in a measuring chamber that is disposed in a circuit board receiving portion. The measuring chamber has a communication port for communication with a main passage. According to this configuration, process addition attributable to integration between a flow rate measurement device and the environment sensor is not required. The environment sensor does not affect air flow in a bypass passage, and thus detection accuracy of a flow rate detection element that is arranged in the bypass passage does not decline.

Abstract: A power conversion device includes a backup power source as a power source for a discharge controller that discharges electric charges of a capacitor, and an abnormal state in the backup power source or loads is not capable of being dealt with when power is supplied to loads from the backup power source, which makes an output voltage of the backup power source be in an abnormal state. In order to solve the problem, when an abnormality occurs in the backup power source or in loads and the abnormality is detected in power supply from the backup power source, a place where the abnormality occurs is specified. When the specified place where the abnormality occurs is a load, power supply to the load is stopped, thereby preventing the output voltage of the backup power source from being abnormal even when an abnormality occurs in part of power supply destinations.

Abstract: When a motor rotation speed is equal to or greater than a predetermined rotation speed when an automobile collision is detected or when power stops, a motor rotation speed reduction control is carried out by an inverter control unit, and when an inter-terminal voltage of a secondary smoothing capacitor drops below a predetermined voltage during the motor rotation speed reduction control, the motor rotation speed reduction control is stopped, whereby induction voltage caused by motor rotation is applied to the secondary smoothing capacitor, the inter-terminal voltage of the secondary smoothing capacitor is raised, and the motor rotation speed reduction control is carried out while keeping the inter-terminal voltage of the secondary smoothing capacitor within an operating voltage range of the inverter control unit.
