    摘要: The present disclosure provides a physical quantity detection device and a signal processing device capable of improving accuracy in detecting an air flow rate by a thermal flow sensor during pulsation of air including a reverse flow region. The signal processing device 200 includes a direction determination unit 210, an increase/decrease determination unit 220, a correction factor storage unit 230, a correction factor selection unit 240, and a signal correction unit 250. The direction determination unit 210 determines a forward flow or a reverse flow of the air based on a detection signal DS of the thermal flow sensor. The increase/decrease determination unit 220 determines an increase or decrease in flow rate of the air based on the detection signal DS. The correction factor storage unit 230 stores first to fourth factors used for correction of the detection signal DS. The correction factor selection unit 240 selects any one of the first to fourth factors as a correction factor CF based on determination results of the direction determination unit 210 and the increase/decrease determination unit 220. The signal correction unit 250 corrects the detection signal DS by using the correction factor CF. The correction factor selection unit 240 selects the first factor in a case of the forward flow of the air and the increase in flow rate, selects the second factor in a case of the reverse flow and the increase in flow rate, selects the third factor in a case of the forward flow and the decrease in flow rate, and selects the fourth factor in a case of the reverse flow and the decrease in flow rate.

    摘要: A method of determining a measure of wave speed or intensity in a fluid conduit uses ultrasound measurements to determine the conduit diameter and fluid velocity in a volume element, each as a function of time, and each at a same longitudinal position of the conduit. The ultrasound measurement to determine fluid velocity is effected by tracking objects within the fluid flow in successive frames sampling the volume element, and obtaining displacement vectors for the objects. A wave speed may be determined from a ratio of the change in fluid velocity at the longitudinal position as a function of time and the change in a logarithmic function of the conduit diameter as a function of time. A measure of wave intensity may be determined as a function of change in determined conduit diameter and corresponding change in fluid velocity.

A correction parameter acquirer acquires a correction parameter corresponding to the calculated pulsation amplitude by use of a correction characteristic. An airflow corrector corrects the airflow by use of the acquired correction parameter.

    摘要: A method is for adjusting a flow measuring device that includes a housing and a flow sensor. The housing includes a bypass flow passage which is formed to take in a part of a mainstream of air. The sensor is disposed in the bypass flow passage and outputs an electrical signal in accordance with a flow rate of air. The bypass flow passage is formed in an asymmetrical shape with respect to the sensor in upstream and downstream directions of the mainstream. A flow from an upstream side toward a downstream side of the mainstream is a forward flow. A flow from the downstream side toward the upstream side of the mainstream is a backward flow. According to the method, an output from the sensor in a backward-flow region is obtained. Furthermore, the output of the sensor in the backward-flow region is adjusted to have a desired output characteristic.
