摘要: A “Concurrent Projector-Camera” uses an image projection device in combination with one or more cameras to enable various techniques that provide visually flicker-free projection of images or video, while real-time image or video capture is occurring in that same space. The Concurrent Projector-Camera provides this projection in a manner that eliminates video feedback into the real-time image or video capture. More specifically, the Concurrent Projector-Camera dynamically synchronizes a combination of projector lighting (or light-control points) on-state temporal compression in combination with on-state temporal shifting during each image frame projection to open a “capture time slot” for image capture during which no image is being projected. This capture time slot represents a tradeoff between image capture time and decreased brightness of the projected image. Examples of image projection devices include LED-LCD based projection devices, DLP-based projection devices using LED or laser illumination in combination with micromirror arrays, etc.

摘要: Techniques for recording and replay of a live conference while still attending the live conference are described. A conferencing system includes a user interface generator, a live conference processing module, and a replay processing module. The user interface generator is configured to generate a user interface that includes a replay control panel and one or more output panels. The live conference processing module is configured to extract information included in received conferencing data that is associated with one or more conferencing modalities, and to display the information in the one or more output panels in a live manner (e.g., as a live conference). The replay processing module is configured to enable information associated with the one or more conferencing modalities corresponding to a time of the conference session prior to live to be presented at a desired rate, possibly different from the real-time rate.

摘要: An apparatus that automatically monitors a display device includes a photo sensor configured to receive light from a display screen of the display device. The photo sensor provides signals representing detected light levels to a processor. The processor is coupled to the display device and is configured to cause the display device to present a test sequence including a plurality of images on the display screen. The processor is configured to capture data from the photo sensor during the presentation of the test sequence and to compare the captured data to an expected sequence corresponding to the test sequence displayed by a well-functioning display. The processor is further configured to report any mismatch between the captured data and the expected sequence as a possible malfunction of the display device.

摘要: Techniques for automatically connecting to a service controller are described herein. In one example, a service controller device includes a processor and a computer-readable memory storage device storing executable instructions that cause the processor to broadcast at least one of an access credential, connection information or an access credential hash embedded in an audio signal. The processor can also authenticate a client device based on a transmission of at least one of the connection information, the access credential, or the access credential hash from the client device to the client connector and transmit data to the client device in response to authenticating the client device.

摘要: In some examples, a system senses the location of a stylus or finger of a user relative to a virtual displayed object to determine when a virtual touch occurs. Upon or after such a determination, the system may generate a haptic action that indicates to the user that the virtual touch occurred. The haptic action may be located on a particular portion of a haptic device, which may be a handheld device. The particular portion may correspond to the location where the virtual displayed object was virtually touched. In this way, the user may receive physical feedback associated with the virtual touch of the virtual displayed object. In some examples, the virtual displayed object may change in response to the virtual touch, thus further providing visual and physical feedback associated with the virtual touch of the virtual displayed object to the user.

The claimed subject matter may disclose a processor and a memory of a service controller to store connection information, an access credential, and an access credential hash. A beacon broadcaster to broadcast the connection information and the access credential hash to a client device, may also be disclosed. The present disclosure may also include an access credential director to send the access credential to an out-of-band communicator. The present disclosure may also include a client connector to receive a connection request from the client device and allow access to a client device based on the client device's use of the connection information.

摘要: Aspects of this present disclosure relate to hybrid conference user interface. The hybrid conference interface provides an establishing shot before the meeting begins that places meeting attendees in a specific spatial arrangement, such as in specific seats around a conference table. Upon starting the conference, the hybrid user interface renders an appropriate perspective view of the meeting that is tailored to each attendee's perspective while also being spatially consistent for the entire group of attendees. Allowing attendees to place themselves where they want gives attendees a sense of physical space that helps them stay spatially oriented relative to the other people and resources in the room.

The system also includes a location engine to determine, for each light emitter, the current display location of that light emitter, and a mapping engine to map, for each current display location, the light activator activating the light emitter currently located at that current display location.
