摘要: Methods, systems, and media for facilitating interaction between viewers of a stream of content are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving a request to begin presenting a stream of content, wherein the stream of content corresponds to a collection of videos presented sequentially; identifying a counter value associated with a duration of time elapsed since a creator of the stream of content initiated presentation of the stream of content; determining a playback position of the stream of content based on the counter value; causing the stream of content to be presented at the determined playback position; receiving an input to display a chat interface; and causing the chat interface to be presented in connection with the presentation of the stream of content, wherein the chat interface includes messages transmitted from a plurality of user devices that are also presenting the stream of content.

Disclosed example apparatus are to monitor for activity on a first bus of an (HDMI) port of the media device. Disclosed example apparatus are also to inject a message with a first address on the first bus in response to detection of no activity on the first bus for at least a threshold duration. Disclosed example apparatus are further to detect the operational state of the media device based on whether a response to the message is received on the first bus.

The electronic apparatus includes: a communication interface comprising communication circuitry, a display, a memory configured to store at least one instruction, and one or more processors connected to the communication interface, the display, and the memory and configured to control the electronic apparatus, wherein the one or more processors, by executing the at least one instruction, may be configured to: control the display to display content streamed from an external server through the communication interface, based on receiving delay characteristic information corresponding to the streamed content from the external server, identify a critical value of a stream buffer in which the streamed content is stored based on the delay characteristic information, and control at least one of a decoding speed of the content or output speed of the display based on the critical value of the stream buffer and a state of the stream buffer.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided herein for indicating an amount of available storage space. To this end, the systems and methods monitor storage space associated with a media storage device to determine whether an amount of storage space available is less than a threshold. In response to determining the amount of storage space available is less than the threshold, the systems and methods enter a deletion mode. Systems and methods monitor user interactions between a user and a user device after entering the deletion mode. Systems and methods further generate for display a notification at an appropriate time, based on the monitored user interactions, to indicate the amount of storage space available to the user.

摘要: A method is disclosed including setting, at a server, a server VSYNC signal to a server VSYNC frequency defining a plurality of frame periods. The server VSYNC signal corresponding to generation of a plurality of video frames at the server during the plurality of frame periods. The method including setting, at a client, a client VSYNC signal to a client VSYNC frequency. The method including sending a plurality of compressed video frames based on the plurality of video frames from the server to the client over a network using the server VSYNC signal. The method including decoding and displaying, at the client, the plurality of compressed video frames. The method including analyzing the timing of one or more client operations to set the amount of frame buffering used by the client, as the client receives the plurality of compressed video frames.
