A sample-and-hold circuit including an operational amplifier configured to output a result signal to the ADC; a feedback capacitor connected between an input terminal and an output terminal of the operational amplifier to form a feedback path; a plurality of sampling capacitor blocks each connected to one of a plurality of channels and configured to sample and hold an analog signal input to each of the channels; a plurality of controllers each connected between one of the sampling capacitor blocks and the operational amplifier; and a reset unit connected between a reference voltage source and the input terminal of the operational amplifier to reset the operational amplifier when the operational amplifier does not perform a holding operation. The plurality of controllers configured to switch the sampled signal so that held signals for the respective channels are sequentially input to the operational amplifier.

A system and method for reducing noise in an automotive heating, ventilation, and cooling system is described. A noise attenuation device using radial vanes upstream of a flow discontinuity, such as a bend in the ducting, and downstream of a blower fan is used to reduce noise.
Abstract:
An air diffuser (20) for an air intake system of an internal combustion engine. The air intake system includes a throttle body (22) up stream from an intake manifold (24), with the air diffuser (20) mounted between them. The air diffuser (20) includes vanes (62,64) extending into its main bore (52) in order to diffuse and redirect the air flowing from the throttle body (22) into the intake manifold (24). An EGR assembly (70) is mounted to the manifold (24) just downstream of the inlet to the manifold (24). The diffusion and redirection of the air reduces the noise emanating from the intake manifold (24) for particular engine operating conditions, and also reduces the backflow of EGR gasses into the throttle body (22).

An analog to digital converter includes a digital to analog converting circuit, a comparator and a signal processing circuit. The digital to analog converting circuit samples and holds an analog input signal, and converts digital output data to an analog signal to generate a hold voltage signal. The comparator compares the hold voltage signal with a reference voltage signal in response to a rising edge and a falling edge of a clock signal to generate a comparison output voltage signal. The signal processing circuit performs successive approximation based on the comparison output voltage signal to generate the digital output data.

The display device is enabled to simultaneously display a first advertisement and a representation of a geographical region. The geographical region is within a geographical super-region, and the geographical super-region is associated with a first entry in a database. The first advertisement is associated with the first entry in the database. The display device is also enabled to receive a selection of the geographical sub-region and display a second advertisement. The geographical sub-region is associated with a second entry in the database, and the second advertisement is associated with the second entry in the database.

A noise attenuation device for a vehicle exhaust system is provided. The device includes an exhaust pipe having a passageway for receiving exhaust gas pulses from an engine. The device further includes a plurality of vanes extending from an inner surface of the passageway and spaced apart from one another and disposed upstream of a discontinuity in the exhaust pipe. The vanes reduce turbulence in the exhaust gas pulses flowing past the vanes to reduce noise at the exhaust pipe discontinuity.
