Abstract: A method of downlink channel state information (DL CSI) computation and reporting is proposed to support high velocity in new radio (NR) systems. In a first novel aspect, two CSI reference slots are defined. CSI reference slot for CSI measurement is defined for determining which CSI-RS/SSB occasion(s) is used for computing CSI. CSI reference slot for CSI computation is defined for determining the slot where UE assumes the CSI computation should be based upon the channel at that time onwards. In a second novel aspect, UE can be configured with a CSI computation period consisting of one or N slots and can be divided into multiple sub-periods without overlap. UE can be configured to compute and report wideband CSI and subband CSI for the whole CSI computation period and/or for each sub-period.

Abstract: For sidelink vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmission, a first user equipment (UE) obtains time-and-frequency resources that are bounded by two subchannel boundaries and two slot boundaries. The first UE transmits encoded control information to a second UE in a Physical Sidelink Control Channel (PSCCH) that occupies a first portion of the time-and-frequency resources starting from a lowest resource block (RB) in a lowest subchannel and from an earliest symbol available for sidelink control and data transmission. The first UE further transmits encoded data to the second UE in a Physical Sidelink Shared Channel (PSSCH) that occupies a second portion of the time-frequency resources. The second portion includes (a) a first set of RBs in the same symbols as the PSCCH and not used by the PSCCH, and (b) a second set of RBs in symbols not used by the PSCCH.

Abstract: Various examples and schemes pertaining to New Radio (NR) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) cluster management are described. An apparatus, implemented in a user equipment (UE) of a V2X cluster in an NR V2X communication environment, receives a scheduling request from a member of the V2X cluster. The apparatus transmits a resource grant to the member to allocate a resource of one or more resources to the member responsive to the receiving of the scheduling request. The one or more resources are either: (a) preconfigured by a wireless network, or (b) granted by the wireless network responsive to the UE transmitting a resource request to the wireless network upon receiving the scheduling request.

The processor transmits a normal call-establishment signal with a remote identifier to a network to originate a normal call in response to a first call-origination request with the remote identifier, receives an indication message indicating that the normal call is routed as an emergency call from the network, records the remote identifier in the memory device, and when receiving a second call-origination request with the remote identifier, transmits an emergency call-establishment signal with the remote identifier to the network to originate an emergency call in response to the second call-origination request.

Abstract: Method and UE are provided for determining precoder of MIMO system. In particular, a BS can transmit at least one CSI-RS to the UE. The UE can receive the at least one CSI-RS, and estimate at least one covariance matrix of at least one downlink channel matrix according to the at least one CSI-RS at different times and frequencies. Then, the UE can transmit the at least one covariance matrix or at least one parameter associated with the least one covariance matrix to the BS for the BS to reconstruct at least one covariance matrix, and determine a precoder according to the at least one reconstructed covariance matrix.

Abstract: Sidelink vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmission is performed over a Physical Sidelink Control Channel (PSCCH) and a Physical Sidelink Shared Channel (PSSCH). Encoded control information is transmitted in the PSCCH and encoded data is transmitted in the PSSCH. The PSCCH uses a first portion of the time-and-frequency resources, and the PSSCH uses and a second portion of the time-and-frequency resources. A first part of the PSSCH uses a first set of time resources overlapping with the PSCCH and a first set of frequency resources non-overlapping with the PSCCH. A second part of the PSSCH uses a second set of time resources non-overlapping with the PSCCH and a second set of frequency resources overlapping with the PSCCH.
