The antibodies are used for diagnostic and treatment purposes of various diseases. Suppression of MMP activity seems to arrest tumor growth during cancer progression. MMP oligopeptides were used as vaccines to treat mice having murine melanoma B16FO induced tumor. The micronutrient composition was most effective in supporting critical cellular mechanisms important for healthy joints-increased production and deposition of important ECM components by synovial cells and chondrocytes under pro-inflammatory conditions (presence of LPS). The micronutrient composition also decreased pro-inflammatory IL-6 and decreased secretion of MMP13, the ECM damaging enzyme in joints.
