摘要: A light receiving unit including: a sensor board assembly on which plural sensor tips are arrayed in a line in a longitudinal direction of the sensor board and mounted on the sensor board; and a sensor plate on which plural of the sensor board assemblies are arrayed and mounted in a line in the longitudinal direction. The sensor chips include plural pixels formed in a line in the longitudinal direction. At longitudinal ends of the sensor board assembly, the sensor chips protrude outward in the longitudinal direction from the longitudinal ends. Between the facing sensor chips of the adjacent sensor board assemblies, the facing sensor chips mounted at the longitudinal ends, the ends of the facing sensor chips are spaced at a predetermined interval. The sensor board includes convex portions, at the longitudinal ends, protruding in the longitudinal direction. The sensor chips are mounted at the convex portion.

摘要: A light guide includes a first exit portion emitting first exiting light, a second exit portion emitting second exiting light in a different direction than the first exiting light, and a reflecting portion reflecting light entering the light guide to each of the first and second exit portions. The first and second exit portions respectively have first and second curved surfaces each having a convex cross section perpendicular to the long axis direction. The second exit portion is connected to the first exit portion in the direction perpendicular to the long axis direction. The reflecting portion is provided, in a plane facing the first exit portion and the second exit portion, at a position shifted in the direction perpendicular to the long axis direction from a position where a normal to the plane passes through a connection portion between the first and second exit portions.

摘要: A solid-state imaging device includes blue photoelectric conversion elements, green photoelectric conversion elements, red photoelectric conversion elements, infrared photoelectric conversion elements, and an infrared cut filter (IRCF) is layered on the blue photoelectric conversion elements, the green photoelectric conversion elements, and the red photoelectric conversion elements with a uniform film thickness. Color filters that respectively transmit the blue light, the green light, and the red light are layered on the IRCF so as to correspond with the blue photoelectric conversion elements, the green photoelectric conversion elements, and the red photoelectric conversion elements. A visible-light shielding filter is layered on the infrared photoelectric conversion elements. An ultraviolet cut filter layered between the photoelectric conversion elements other than the infrared photoelectric conversion elements and the IRCF, and between the infrared photoelectric conversion elements and the visible-light shielding filter with a uniform film thickness.

The lens (4) is configured to focus light irradiated toward an object to be read (30) from a direction tilted relative to the X-Z plane, and reflected by the object to be read (30). The first casing (1) is configured to contain or retain the lens (4) and the sensor (6) and to have, in a surface (1j) extending along a main scanning direction, a tilted portion having a length in a sub-scanning direction that decreases toward the object to be read (30).
