摘要： In a projection type duplicating apparatus the lighting energy of the light source is controlled in accordance with the magnification of the projecting lens system by a number of control circuits and a control switch is actuated by the proper positioning of the photosensitive means within the image receiving position. The circuit for controlling the energy of the light source includes a capacitor connected in series with the control switch and a relay actuated by the discharge of that capacitor for energizing the light source. In an alternative embodiment the control circuits each comprise a portion of the primary winding of a transformer, the secondary winding of the transformer being connected across an additional capacitor whereby the charging voltage of the additional capacitor is controlled by the transformer.

摘要： An electrophotographic copying machine utilizes an endless belt having a conductive film and carrying a photosensitive surface thereon. The photosensitive surface comprises a thin evaporated film of a non-crystalloid selenium formed on at least a portion of the film and an organic semiconductor film deposited on the evaporated film. The endless belt also includes means for indicating exposure frames and the endless belt is positioned so that the photosensitive surface receives the image by a detector mechanism which senses the exposure frames. The apparatus also includes a movable frame which is detachably mounted to the copying machine for tensioning, aligning, and maintaining the belt flat.

摘要： A scanning type exposure device in an electrostatic copier comprises an optical system movable between and parallel to the transversely spaced parallel original and photosensitive sheet member and includes a stationary objective mirror-lens or lens and a first reflector system movable to scan the original and expose successive sections thereof to the objective and a second reflector system for scanning the photosensitive sheet to project images of successive sections of the original thereon. The scanning reflector systems move in synchronization and the elements thereof move to maintain a constant optical path length between the original and the photosensitive sheet respectively and the objective.

摘要： In electrophotographic duplicators, a manuscript is disposed in a static position and an exposing device comprising an illuminating device for illuminating the manuscript is provided. The exposing device, having one of several embodiments of projection lens systems therein, is provided with a slit at the side facing the manuscript, and is slit at the side facing the light-sensitive surface. The device is caused to transfer parallel to the manuscript at a constant linear speed, and the light-sensitive surface is caused to transfer parallel to the manuscript in the same direction at a linear speed twice the transfer speed of the exposing device to form an electrostatic latent image on the light-sensitive sheet. The duplicating speed is made to be twice the speed of exposure sequentially, and operations such as succeeding development, transfer and the like can be effected at the duplicating speed.

摘要： A device for illuminating an original in a copying machine, comprising one or more planar reflectors disposed in the proximity of edges of an original-holding glass plate of the copying machine. One or more light sources, each corresponding to one of the planar reflectors, are disposed on the opposite side of the corresponding planar reflector with respect to the glass plate. Reflective shades, each corresponding to one of the light sources, are disposed at the back of the corresponding light sources, respectively, to direct light beams to the corresponding planar reflector in such a manner that the reflected light beams from the reflectors become incident to the original. The reflective shades are so shaped and disposed that they interrupt both light beams directly proceeding to the photosensitive copying paper and light beams producing a ghost image.

摘要： In a transfer electrophotographic duplicator an exposure means includes an optical system having a slit movable in parallel with a transparent plate for supporting an original document so as to project an image onto a flexible sensitive film. At least a portion of the film is supported in a plane parallel to the transparent plate by a supply roller and a take-up roller. A driving roller transports the flexible film between the supply roller and the take-up roller and is controlled by a first switch which stops the driving roller when the film has been transported a distance a length longer than that of the original image. A driving member is then actuated to move the exposure means across the transparent plate and a second switch stops the driving member after it has moved across the transparent plate. A third switch actuates the driving roller to transport the film from the take-up roller to the supply roller. Control means are provided for actuating a corona discharge device, a transfer feeding device, a transfer device, and a developing device.

摘要： In an electrophotographic duplicating apparatus, a rotatable drum supporting the photosensitive material has a circumference slightly greater than the length of the original material to be copied and is rotated through n+1 revolutions, wherein n is the number of copies. During the first revolution of the drum the original image is formed on the photosensitive material.
