When the amount of light corresponding to the exposure conditions is the minimum amount of light, the light-attenuating filter is moved so that light illuminated onto the original is transmitted through the region 54B. Light transmitted through the moving original is transmitted through a slit to form slit light, and the slit light is imaged onto the photosensitive material by a zoom lens.
