Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives an indication for transmitting a particular DMRS sequence in an uplink transmission. The particular DMRS sequence is time domain based. The UE generates the particular DMRS sequence. The UE modulates the particular DMRS sequence to obtain a set of symbols. The UE maps a plurality of symbols of the set of symbols to a plurality of subcarriers. The UE transmits the plurality of symbols on the plurality of subcarriers.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication of a UE is provided. The UE determines K1 information bits carrying one or more CSI reports, the one or more reports including a first CSI report, K1 being an integer greater than 0. The UE selects K2 information bits from the K1 information bits, the K2 information bits excluding a part of information bits of the first CSI report, K2 being an integer greater than 0 and smaller than K1. The UE determines that the K2 information bits are in a first predetermined relationship with a threshold. The UE transmits E2 encoded bits derived from the K2 information bits in a physical up-link channel to a base station, E2 being an integer greater than 0.

Abstract: Various solutions for handling synchronization signal block with respect to user equipment (UE) and network apparatus in mobile communications are described. A UE may receive a synchronization signal block (SS block) from a network apparatus. The UE may detect a transmission beam of the network apparatus according to the SS block. The SS block may comprise a first synchronization signal, a second synchronization signal and a reference signal for detecting the transmission beam. The first synchronization signal may be a primary synchronization signal (PSS), the second synchronization signal may be a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and the reference signal may be a demodulation reference signal (DMRS). The SS block may further comprise a broadcast channel and wherein the DMRS is used for demodulation of the broadcast channel.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives, from a base station, a trigger for reporting M CSI reports, M being an integer greater than 0. The UE determines that P processing units are available for calculation of CSI reports, each of the P processing units indicating a predetermined amount of computing power of the UE. The UE selects N CSI reports from the M CSI reports in accordance with a predetermined rule, N being a maximum integer that allows total processing units assigned for calculation of the N CSI reports to be smaller than or equal to the P processing units. The UE updates the N CSI reports.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method of data transmission that includes determining a transmission time interval for transmission of a transport block and setting a segmentation threshold for the transport block to a first threshold or a second threshold that is less than the first threshold based on the determined transmission time interval. The method includes converting the transport block into one or more outgoing code blocks that each has a size not greater than the determined segmentation threshold and encoding the one or more outgoing code blocks for transmission when communication device is configured to transmit the transport block. The method also includes receiving one or more incoming code blocks that each has a size not greater than the determined segmentation threshold and reconstructing the transport block from the one or more incoming code blocks when communication device is configured to receive the transport block.
