Abstract: A synergetic communication method for capability reporting in relay communications is proposed. A user equipment (UE) may detect the relay node(s). In an event that a trigger condition is triggered, the UE may transmit the capability report associated with the detected relay node to the network node. The network node may generate the resource configuration based on the capability report from the UE. Therefore, the network node is able to obtain the capability information of the relay node even if the relay node has limited capability, e.g., the relay node is a layer 0 (L0) relay node or a layer 1 (L1) relay node.

Abstract: A method for sidelink communication is provided. The method is applied to a first UE in a sidelink communication to transmit signals to a second UE which is a peer receiving (peer-Rx) UE of the first UE. The method includes the following steps: maintaining a counter to record how many periodic reservations remain to be used for sidelink signal transmission, wherein the periodic reservations are associated with a reservation period and each periodic reservation is associated with at least one sidelink resource; determining whether a resource re-selection condition is met before the counter counts to 0, wherein the resource re-selection condition is associated with status of receiving responses corresponding to a subset of the sidelink resources; and reselectting at least one new sidelink resource for next periodic reservations when the resource re-selection condition is met.

Abstract: A UE receives second time domain signals, each carrying L layers of data, in S second intervals corresponding to a second subcarrier spacing. Each of the second intervals contains one or more OFDM symbols. The L layers of data are transmitted by a base station through sets of N1 modulation symbols carried on N1 subcarriers of a first subcarrier spacing. The UE obtains sets of N2 modulation symbols carried on N2 reception subcarriers of the second subcarrier spacing from each second time domain signal received through each receiving antenna in each second interval. Each set of the sets of N2 modulation symbols corresponds to one of the OFDM symbols in the S second intervals. The UE obtains a mapping rule that maps the sets of N2 modulation symbols received in two or more of the S second intervals to a resource set for decoding together.

Multiple Sidelink Control Information (SCI) messages are decoded at the first UE on a single Physical Sidelink Control Channel (PSCCH) resource.
