The vehicle air conditioning control method includes acquiring a thermal image in a vehicle using an image sensor, acquiring thermal comfort information of each passenger in the vehicle using the thermal image, and controlling air conditioning of the vehicle based on the thermal comfort information of each passenger.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a brake control system for use in a vehicle and a control method thereof. A brake control system may be configured to include a brake pad for braking the vehicle by pressing a brake disc provided in the vehicle, a measuring apparatus for measuring the vehicle speed, the wear level of the brake pad, the traveling distance of the vehicle, the braking distance of the vehicle, and the braking pressure applied by the brake pad to the brake disc at braking, and a controller connected with the measuring apparatus and for controlling an operation of the brake pad. The controller may compare an initial braking distance, which is a design value of the braking distance before initial traveling of the vehicle, with a current braking distance, which is a braking distance after traveling of the vehicle during a certain duration, and increase the braking pressure of the brake pad in response to the amount of increase in the braking distance, when the amount of increase in the braking distance, which is a difference value between the current braking distance and the initial braking distance, is out of a setting range. The brake control system may transmit and receive a wireless signal in a mobile communication network constructed according to 5G (Generation) communication.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cleaning robot that communicates with peripheral devices over a 5G communication network and that preferentially cleans a region that needs to be cleaned the most based on the communication. Based on information about the use of a user terminal used in a movement space in which the cleaning robot moves or a collecting terminal collecting information about the behavior or locations of a user moving in the movement space, the cleaning robot preferentially moves to a region in which the user terminal or the collecting terminal is rarely used. That is, a region in which a user rarely travels, i.e. a region in which a large amount of dust or foreign substances is liable to accumulate, is cleaned preferentially by the cleaning robot, whereby the cleaning efficiency of the cleaning robot is improved.

Abstract: An augmented reality-based device control method and a control apparatus thereof are disclosed. The augmented reality-based device control method includes obtaining a real image with a device to be controlled as a subject, as an image which configures an augmented reality (AR)-based remote controller and detecting a remote control (RC) protocol of the device to be controlled by recognizing the real image. The detecting of an RC protocol of the device to be controlled includes verifying whether the device to be controlled is controllable through a candidate RC protocol based on whether the device to be controlled operates according to the real image. Here, a plus score may be assigned to an item area where presence of a socket is verified. Further, a highest score may be assigned to a movement route having a shortest distance required for the mobile robot to return to a charging station which charges a battery of the mobile robot, among the movement routes on which the mobile robot moves.

Abstract: A cleaner capable of controlling motor power and a control method thereof are disclosed. The cleaner may include a head suctioning external dirt, a stick communicating with the head, being adjustable in length, and providing a passage through which dirt that is suctioned moves, a length sensor mounted on the stick and sensing a length change of the stick, a motor providing dirt suction power to the head, a speed measurer measuring a movement speed and a movement direction of the head, and a controller controlling power of the motor. The controller may select minimum power for dirt suction of the motor on the basis of at least one of information about the length change of the stick, the movement speed of the head, and the movement direction of the head, and may control the motor to have the selected minimum power. The cleaner can transmit/receive wireless signals on a mobile communication network established in accordance with 5G (Generation) communication.
