Abstract: Provided is a wearable device including a main body that is configured to be worn on a specific portion of a user's body, a sensing unit, provided in the main body, that senses a biological signal of a user, a storage unit that collects log information relating to the biological signal, and in which an index pattern relating to a state of the user included in the collected log information is stored, and a controller that sets a reference driving index, using the stored index pattern, in which when it is sensed that the user gets in a vehicle, the controller determines a current driving index corresponding to the biological signal that is sensed before and after the user gets in the vehicle, based on the reference driving index being set, and outputs feedback that notifies the state of the user that corresponds to a result of the determination.

Abstract: A driver state monitoring (DSM) system includes an image obtainment apparatus configured to obtain image information of a user driving a vehicle; a biological information obtainment unit configured to be worn on a specific portion of the user's body and to obtain biological information from the specific portion of the user's body; and a controller configured to detect a dangerous driving-state in which the user drives the vehicle, based on the image information and the biological information of the user.

Abstract: An ear set device that includes a main body; and one or more earphones configured to output a response signal, wherein at least one of the one or more earphones includes: a first detecting unit configured to detect whether the one or more earphones are attached to a user, wherein the main body includes a communication unit configured to perform wireless communication with the one or more earphones, a second detecting unit configured to detect a location of the main body, and a control unit configured to, based on a determination that the main body is inside a vehicle and a determination that the vehicle is operating while the one or more earphones are attached to the user, receive, from the vehicle, information related to an operation of the vehicle and output a response signal corresponding to the received information through the one or more earphones is disclosed.
