    摘要: A portable information device includes: a chassis; a decorative plate fixed to a part of an outer face of the chassis with stretch releasable double-sided adhesive tape; and a cover member that covers the outer face and the decorative plate. The double-sided adhesive tape has: an adhesive portion including adhesive layers on first and second faces of a substrate for adhesively fixing between the decorative plate and the outer face; and a tab including release paper partially covering the adhesive layers to let a user hold the tab for stretch release of the adhesive portion from between the decorative plate and the outer face. The double-sided adhesive tape has a first groove and a second groove on the first face and the second face, respectively, that are positioned not to overlap in a thickness direction of the substrate.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a display device that can prevent deformation of a flexible display is provided. A raw material sheet that serves as a metal sheet of the flexible display has a width that is greater than a width of the display body in Y direction and a plurality of holes are provided in a bent area of the raw material sheet over an entire width along a bent section of the display body. The method includes: mounting the display body on the raw material sheet such that the bent section and the bent area are aligned and that the display body avoids the end portions in the Y direction; applying pressure to the display body from a central part of the display body toward a periphery of the display body; and cutting the raw material sheet into a predetermined size.

    摘要: A hinge device capable of reducing a reduced-size biaxial structure that can selectively switch rotations of two shafts according to an opening/closing angle position between two chassis is disclosed. The hinge device includes a first shaft attached to a first chassis, and a second shaft attached to a second chassis. The first shaft includes a recess located on an outer peripheral surface of the first shaft, and the second shaft includes a recess located on an outer peripheral surface of the second shaft. The hinge device also includes a lock member having a first projection engageable the said first recess, a second projection engageable with the second recess, and an arm member coupling the first projection to the second projection. The lock member allows rotation of one of the first shaft or the second shaft and restricts rotation of each other according to an opening/closing angle position between the first chassis and the second chassis by alternately performing engagement of the first projection with said first recess and engagement of the second projection with the second recess by means of sway of the arm member.
