摘要: In a dry moving bed type adsorption tower using a granular adsorbent, for example, for removing SO.sub.x and NO.sub.x from waste gases, the granular adsorbent entering the adsorption tower is previously rinsed with a gas in a feed pipe for the adsorbent, thereby avoiding the need to install a dust collector at the outlet of the adsorption tower.

摘要: A reactor of the moving bed type wherein a granular material is packed and held by a louver structure and moved downward and brought into contact with a gas passing through the louver, is improved so as to avoid both accumulation of dust on the louver part at the gas inlet side and excessive rising of the pressure loss. The improvement consists of providing a sub-louver comprising louver units each having a cross section of reverse V-type, including triangular type, inside a main louver for packing and holding the granular material in such a manner that the sub-louver is aligned in parallel with the main louver, the louver unit of the sub-louver has a vertex positioned at an intermediate height between the louver boards of the main louver, one side of the V-type of the sub-louver is directed toward the inside of the main louver in a reverse gradient to the main louver, the other side of the V-type is directed downward in the vertical or inclined direction from the vertex, and the lower end of each of the sides does not contact the vertex of the next lower sub-louver unit.

摘要: An exhaust-gas treating apparatus, which includes an adsorption tower for removing various harmful substances in an exhaust gas using an adsorbent, a regeneration tower for releasing adsorbed substances from the adsorbent, a first transfer passage for transferring the adsorbent from the adsorption tower to the regeneration tower, a second transfer passage for transferring the adsorbent from the regeneration tower to the adsorption tower, a lock hopper connected to one end of the regeneration tower on a higher differential pressure side of a first differential pressure between an inside of the regeneration tower and an inside of the first transfer passage and a second differential pressure between the inside of the regeneration tower and an inside of the second transfer passage to thereby secure gas-tightness, a sealing unit connected to the other end of the regeneration tower on a lower differential pressure side to thereby secure gas-tightness, and an adjusting unit for maintaining the differential pressure in the sealing unit within a fixed range.

摘要: The present invention relates toA lock hopper (11) provided with air-tight hoppers (A3, B3) arranged side by side with entrance valves (A1, B1) arranged above the air-tight hoppers (A3, B3) and exit valves (A4, B4) arranged below the air-tight hoppers (A3, B3).The lock hopper (11) performs control which alternately repeats the following states: a state in which granular substances in an upper system are placed in one of the hoppers and gas is supplied into the other hopper to discharge granular substances from the inside of the other hopper to a lower system and a state in which the granular substances in the upper system are placed in the other hopper and gas is supplied to said hopper to discharge granular substances from the inside of said hopper to the lower system.Also provided is a method of transferring granular substances in an upper system to a lower system by using above-described lock hopper, wherein gas having a volume corresponding to the volume of at least the granular substances to be discharged to the lower system is supplied to a hopper in a state in which the granular substances are being discharged from the hopper to the lower system.
