    Abstract: The present invention relates to a conveyor system comprising: a drive machine, a conveyor control unit configured to control operation of a conveyor device, a sensor array comprising at least one sensor mounted to the drive machine and adapted to measure one or more properties of the drive machine, a processing unit associated with the drive machine, wherein the processing unit is connected to the sensor array and configured to obtain and process measurement data from the sensor array to generate in-formation about an operation of the drive machine, and a communication channel between the conveyor control unit and the processing unit. The conveyor system may be an elevator system, an escalator system or a moving walk system.

    Abstract: An inductive sensor device for monitoring gap clearance of an elevator door is arranged in association with the elevator door. The inductive sensor device is configured to obtain sensor data representing the gap clearance of the elevator door being in a closed state. The inductive sensor device is further configured to: monitor the gap clearance of the elevator door based on the obtained sensor data, and/or provide the obtained sensor data to a remote monitoring entity for monitoring the gap clearance of the elevator door. A method and a monitoring system for monitoring gap clearance of an elevator door are also disclosed.

    Abstract: An elevator system includes an elevator car, a hoisting machine moving the elevator car in a hoistway, and a hoisting machine brake having one or more brake pads moving into a brake position where the one or more brake pads contact a braking surface to reduce speed of the elevator car when activated to brake. To provide a solution ensuring reliable operation of the brake, the elevator system includes a temperature sensor providing a signal indicating a temperature of the braking surface, and a monitoring unit monitoring operation of the hoisting machine brake, the monitoring unit receiving the signal indicating the temperature and is configured to indicate a brake fault when the indicated temperature during an elevator run has reached an upper limit value or increased with more than a limit value.

    Abstract: A safety system of an elevator provided herein may comprise a safety controller, a sensor unit configured to generate a first sensor signal indicating a travelling parameter and to provide the first sensor signal to an elevator drive unit of the elevator, and a signal converter connected to the sensor unit and configured to convert the first sensor signal into a second signal in a second format compatible with the safety controller and to provide the second signal in the second format to the safety controller. The safety controller may be configured to receive the second signal in the second format and to determine, based on the second signal, if there is an emergency condition.

    Abstract: An elevator safety brake unit, an elevator including at least two of the safety brake units, and a method for testing the safety brake units are disclosed. Each safety brake unit includes a frame part, a movable composition movably supported on the frame part, a compression spring assembly associated with the movable composition, and adapted to activate a braking by pushing the movable composition forward, and a coil assembly of an electromagnet disposed in the frame part and adapted to deactivate the braking by pulling the movable composition backwards. Each movable composition includes at least two movable elements, one compression spring for each movable element, and at least one coil assembly adapted to deactivate the braking by pulling the at least two movable elements backwards.
