摘要: Latent heat crystallized polyesters and copolyesters of a degree of crystallization greater than 38% and made by a process in which, without prior additive admixtures and without further cooling, the granulate is fed directly from the latent heat crystallization into a solid phase polycondensation reactor and condensed to a higher viscosity and subjected to acetaldehyde reduction. Alternatively without additive admixtures the granulate is subjected to dealdehydization and then worked up into bottles.

摘要: An integrated cabin services system (CSS) includes a controller adapted to receive a plurality of mobile platform state inputs and a plurality of cabin service modules communicatively connected to the controller. Each of the modules has a plurality of attributes that are utilized to affect at least one CSS function. The CSS additionally includes a comprehensive database that includes a plurality of database portions. One database portion is related to the controller and stored thereon, and each of the other database portions are related to specific ones of the modules and stored in the related modules. The controller utilizes the comprehensive database to employ combinational logic to combine the received state inputs and output a state command to the related database portion of at least one of the modules. The related database portion then generates an output utilized to affect the states of the related module attributes, thereby controlling the execution of at least one CSS function.

摘要: A cabin services system (CSS) architecture in a mobile platform includes the same type of bus for communicating with and controlling CSS subsystems. A controller controls operation of the CSS subsystems using programmable modules provided in connection with the CSS subsystems. This may include control of lighting and audio operations. Switches also may be provided for controlling transmission of data from the controller to the subsystems for controlling CSS subsystem operations. The CSS Architecture provides a flexible and fully scalable CSS which may be economically installed on many different mobile platforms.

摘要: In an apparatus for the insufflation of gas into a body cavity the dynamic pressure of the gas flow conducted to the body cavity and the static intra-abdominal pressure in the body cavity are detected with at least one measuring transducer. The electrical output signal of the measuring transducer detecting the pressure is converted by difference formation with a compensation signal, which substantially takes into account the resistance to flow of the instrument conducting the gas into the body cavity, into a difference signal corresponding to the static intra-abdominal pressure. With this signal a control circuit for the setting of the desired pressure value in the body cavity is controlled, in which respect the compensation signal in each case at the start of the insufflation is generated from the output signal of the relevant measuring transducer and is stored in a store and upon gas flow the stored compensation signal is fed to the one input and the output signal of the measuring transducer is fed to the other input of an operational amplifier for the formation of the difference signal, whilst the store at the input store is separated electrically from the measuring transducer by way of a switch.

摘要: The instant invention relates to a process for the blending of bulk materials by means of a jet gas blender, whereby the blending porcess is initiated only when full gas pressure is reached and when the valve immediately upstream of the storage tank (3) has been closed. At the end of the set time period "t.sub.1 " the valve (4) leading to the blending container (6) is closed in effect simultaneously and the valve (4.1) leading to the storage tank (3) is reopened, whereby the blended material settles in the blending container (6) without being disturbed by turbulence in this control position and whereby this phase is maintained for a set period of time.Only at the end of that period of time is the line cross-section leading to the filter (8) opened to allow exhaust air to go through, and its passage is thereby adjusted so that the quantity of exhaust air going through the filter remains approximately constant per time unit. When the pressure in the blending container (6) has dropped to the level of the atmospheric pressure the material is discharged via the discharge opening.

摘要: An apparatus for automatically regulating a light source for providing light for illuminating an object viewed by means of an endoscope equipped with a video camera, there is provided a signal processing device having a circuit for defining the density value of the video signal of each line of the camera image, by means of which circuit, the video signal emitted is passed to a comparator which compares it with a brightness threshold voltage which can be preset. A control signal for regulating the light source is determined by counting the image lines having a brightness exceeding the threshold voltage and linking the resultant count to a mathematical function. The actual value obtained from the video signal is independent of the area of the bright parts of the image and is, therefore, independent of the diameter of the image circle of the endoscope.
