    摘要: A manual window regulator in which a pinion rotatably carried by a window glass and driven by a manual handle is held in engagement with a rack which is fixed to extend in the direction of movement of the window glass, so that a manual rotation of the handle causes the pinion to roll along the rack in meshing engagement therewith so as to drive the window glass thereby opening and closing a window. The transmission of rotation from the handle to the pinion is effected through a tape stretched between a drive gear rotationally driven by the handle and driven gear coaxially fixed to the pinion. The rack and the pinion are usable also as the parts of a power window regulator. The manual window regulator therefore can be easily converted into a power window regulator by using an electric motor for driving the pinion in place of the unit including the handle, the drive gear and the tape.

    摘要: A self-driving closure device for moving a closure member such as a window glass of a vehicle between an open position and a close position. The device has a motor movable together with the closure member. The motor has a pinion that meshes with a rack secured to the vehicle door or a rotary drum on which an intermediate portion of a wire secured to the door is wound, so that a thrusting force for driving the window glass between the open and close positions is generated as a reactional force as the pinion or the drum is rotated. A mechanism is provided between the motor and the window glass so as to absorb any offset between the direction of movement of the glass and the direction of movement of the motor, so as to ensure smooth movement of the window glass.

    摘要: A power supplying system for supplying power to a self-driving closure device in which a driving source for driving the closure device for opening and closing an opening moves together with the closure device includes a lead wire having one end connected to a power source and the other end connected to the driving source. The side of the lead wire connected to the power source is supported at a midpoint between the positions of the upper and lower limits of movement of the driving source, while the side of the lead wire connected to the driving source is supported in such a manner as to move together with the driving source. The lead wire is thus made to swing in conjunction with the movement of the driving source so as to supply power to the moving driving source. A guide shaft is provided along the direction of movement of the driving source, and a helical portion formed in the lead wire is extended or shrunk along the guide shaft so as to supply power to the moving driving source.

    摘要: There is provided a mobile member position detection apparatus in which not only high-accuracy detection of a position of a window glass or the like of a power window apparatus but also setting of an initial position being free from cumbersome adjustment can be realized with a simple structure at low cost. In this position detection apparatus, a transmission plate and a cam plate are rotated together with the rotating shaft of a window regulator, and a limit switch is rendered conductive to detect a predetermined rotational position. Thereafter, when the rotating shaft is rotated, the intermeshing state between a tooth portion and a tooth portion obtained by a wave washer is released, and rotation of the rotating shaft is not transmitted to the cam plate. Therefore, when the rotating shaft (drive motor) is sufficiently rotated during an incorporating operation, an initial state wherein a projecting portion is brought into contact with a stopper to render the limit switch conductive is automatically set.

In a state in which the ring gear is provisionally installed, press-contact force of the fixed contacts is not applied to the ring gear. As a result, the ring gear does not rise and positional deviation does not occur, and therefore, the assemblability can be greatly improved.

Hence, even if the output shaft of the motor is rotated sufficiently, this state of contact is maintained.

    摘要: A metallic receiving plate is located in a holding recess of a housing such that the plate opposes the distal end face of a worm shaft. The distal end of the receiving plate with respect to the rotating shaft defines a charging cavity in the holding recess. A resin material is charged into the charging cavity. A metallic ball is located between the distal end face of the worm shaft and the receiving plate. The ball makes point contact with the distal end face of the worm shaft and with the receiving plate. Two protrusions are formed on the receiving plate. The protrusions are embedded in the resin material to connect the receiving plate to the solidified resin material and to prevent the receiving plate from rotating. Thus, the rotational resistance of the worm shaft is reduced, and the durability of the bearing device is improved.
