Abstract:
A semiconductor testing method capable of quickly counting semiconductor cells in which a seemingly horizontal or vertical line is drawn with a mouse, and raster rotation is performed in alignment with the closer axis. After that, the stage is horizontally moved, pattern matching is performed on an image on a position where the image should be disposed, and an angle is adjusted. The stage is moved evenly along the X-axis and the Y-axis, achieving a movement to a destination like a straight line. In synchronization with the smooth movement of the stage, a cell is surrounded in a rectangular frame by a ruler, and the number of cells is displayed with a numeric value.
Abstract:
A stiffness detector transmits acoustic waves to a paper sheet at a predetermined angle to excite Lamb waves. The stiffness detector receives leaky waves of the Lamb waves propagated through the paper sheet at different angles with respect to the paper sheet by a plurality of reception sensors. The stiffness detector is configured to specify a maximum leak angle at which a leak amount of the acoustic waves from the paper sheet becomes maximum based on outputs from the plurality of reception sensors in the reception module and to judge a degree of fatigue of the paper sheet based on the specified maximum leak angle.

Abstract:
A copper alloy suitable for an IC lead pin for a pin grid array provided on a plastic substrate, which copper alloy is a Cu—Zn—Mg alloy, a Cu—Sn alloy, a Cu—SN—Ag alloy, a Cu—Fe—Zn—P alloy, or a Cu—Cr alloy, each having a given alloy composition, in which the copper alloy has conductivity of 50% IACS or more and tensile stress of 400 MPa to 650 MPa.
Abstract:
A navigation system for easily determining defective positions is provided. In the case of CAD navigation to defective positions, logical information for indicating defective positions is created in a CAD format, instead of CAD data of physical information indicating circuit design. Specifically, by attaching marks such as rectangles, characters, or lines, to an electron microscope image with software, quick navigation is performed with required minimum information. By using created CAD data, re-navigation with the same equipment and CAD navigation to heterogeneous equipment are performed.
Abstract:
An electronic musical instrument has play modes and a help function in which a help picture is displayed in accordance with each of the play modes. When the help function is started by operating a help switch in the instrument being operating in a normal play mode, a picture for selecting one of the play modes is displayed on a display. When the help function is started in a play mode but the normal play mode, a help picture corresponding to the play mode is displayed at once. A sequence of operations for obtaining a help picture can be stored in a storing medium.
Abstract:
A waveform generator LSI generates waveform data in units of time slots corresponding to tone generation channels in accordance with tone control data assigned to the individual channels, and accumulates waveform data for the individual channels to form at least one polyphonic tone data. The tone control data are updated by time division control in units of time slots of the channels. By suspending update of control data in the time slot of an unused channel in accordance with data indicating the used/unused status of each channel, switching of CMOS elements composing the waveform generator LSI is suppressed so that the LSI operates at low power. In a system using a waveform memory outside the waveform generator LSI, the read address to be supplied to the waveform memory in the time slot of an unused channel is fixed at a previous value, thus also attaining power savings of the external memory.
Abstract:
In a power window apparatus, an external force which develops at the time of catching foreign objects in a window is detected directly by a window frame sensor and indirectly by a motor load detection circuit. Automatic window closing operation is disabled when the external force exceeds a first and a second predetermined levels of the window frame sensor and the motor load detection circuit, respectively. When the window frame sensor fails, the window closing operation is disabled and a warning is provided at the time the external force detected by the load detection circuit reaches a third predetermined level. Alternatively, the automatic window closing operation is disabled when the external force exceeds the first or the second predetermined levels of the window frame sensor or the motor load detection circuit, respectively. When the window frame sensor fails, the window closing operation is disabled and the warning is provided at the time the external force reaches the second predetermined level. In each case, once the window frame sensor fails, the predetermined level used to determine a failure of the window frame sensor may be lowered so that the window closing operation may be disabled earlier.
Abstract:
A tying method and apparatus which is carried to easily automatically band bar-like articles such as reinforcements or pipes and various other articles by a linear tying material. The apparatus comprises tying material feed means (6), tying material bending means (8), encompassing and guiding means (9), tying material cutting means (7) and twisting means (11), wherein a starting point is formed in a way such that a part of a continuous linear tying material w delivered from the tying material feed means comes into engagement with the tying material bending means so that the tying material is bonded into a U-shape. In that state, the tying material is delivered from one side whereby the tying material is guided around an article to be tied by the encompassing and guiding means (9) while being bended into a substantially U-shape. The tying material is cut into a predetermined length, and both ends of the tying material are twisted together by a hook (25) of the twisting means (11). Since the tying material is automatically bended to form two strands and the tying is done only once thereby, the strength of the tying material is enhanced and the rigid tying can be made with a materially strong tying force. Further, since the twisting advances from the hook side toward the article to be tied, the twisting can be advanced till a looseness in the tying portion of the article to be tied disappears, thus enabling the strong tying.
