摘要： A stiffness detector transmits acoustic waves to a paper sheet at a predetermined angle to excite Lamb waves. The stiffness detector receives leaky waves of the Lamb waves propagated through the paper sheet at different angles with respect to the paper sheet by a plurality of reception sensors. The stiffness detector is configured to specify a maximum leak angle at which a leak amount of the acoustic waves from the paper sheet becomes maximum based on outputs from the plurality of reception sensors in the reception module and to judge a degree of fatigue of the paper sheet based on the specified maximum leak angle.

摘要： The present invention discloses oil solubilized solutions and foods containing phystosterols containing sitosterols with improved stability, for better absorption of those phytosterols into the body through their oil solubilization, as well as a process for their production; the oil solubilized solutions and foods of the invention are characterized by addition of vitamin E and emulsifiers to sitosterol-containing plant sterols to render the plant sterols soluble in oil, and particularly by extraction of the sitosterol from natural plant components, either alone or as a composition containing other phytosterol components, and by inclusion of vitamin E, emulsifiers which are liquid at room temperature, and glycerin esters of medium chain fatty acids of 6-12 carbon atoms; the process for producing oil solubilized plant sterols according to the invention is characterized by adding vitamin E and emulsifiers to phystosterols containing sitosterols to render the plant sterols soluble in oil.

摘要： A stiffness detector includes a bending portion configured to bend a paper sheet to be carried. The stiffness detector transmits acoustic waves to an incidence point on an inner surface of the paper sheet which is bent by the bending portion and is carried, thereby exciting Lamb waves. The stiffness detector receives leaky waves of the Lamb waves emitted from a detection point on the inner surface of the paper sheet. The stiffness detector specifies a maximum crest value based on the received signals, and judges whether the paper sheet is an unimpaired sheet based on the specified maximum crest value.

摘要： On a recording medium serving as a verification object, a picture whose state changes in accordance with optical conditions is formed. A verification apparatus images a plurality of pictures of the recording medium while changing an optical relationship among a light source for illuminating the recording medium, a camera for imaging a picture of the recording medium, and the recording medium with a condition modifying unit. The verification apparatus displays the plurality of pictures of the recording medium imaged by the camera, on the display unit in a state in which the optical relationship has been changed. The verification apparatus determines imaging conditions for imaging a picture for verification on the basis of the optical relationship at the time of photographing selected pictures among the plurality of pictures displayed on the display unit.

Coils wound at the first end portions of the cores, respectively, are connected in series to each other, thereby constituting a first coil.
