摘要: A device for generating chlorine dioxide includes a cartridge having a chemical-holding space, in which a granular chlorite is held, a fan, and ultraviolet LED lamps disposed within a device main body, which can be separated into two or more detachable portions. The cartridge has light-transmitting properties and has a structure, which enables air to pass through the chemical-holding space and the inside of the device main body. When the fan is in operation, air is discharged from the inside of the device main body and, simultaneously therewith, air comes in from the outside of the device main body. By the action of ultraviolet rays, chlorine dioxide gas is generated from the chlorite present in the cartridge. By the operation of the fan, the gas is discharged from the inside of the device main body through air discharge ports.

摘要: A chlorine dioxide generator includes a container body deformable in response to application of a force from the outside. The container body contains therein a solid acidic composition and an aqueous chlorite solution under a non-contact state from each other. The solid acidic composition comprises a porous material containing an acidic substance. The aqueous chlorite solution is sealed within an easily breakable enclosure. In operation, when the container body is deformed, the enclosure contained therein is broken to bring the aqueous chlorite solution into contact with the solid acidic composition, whereby chlorine dioxide gas is generated. This generated chlorine dioxide gas is discharged via a gas discharge port to the outside of the container body.

摘要: An electrolyzer apparatus includes an anode tank having an anode and a cathode tank having a cathode which are provided separately from each other. The anode tank includes a feed opening for feeding electrolytic solution into the tank, an anode aeration device for feeding aeration air to the fed electrolytic solution, and a gas extraction pipe for guiding gas generated from the anode tank to outside the tank. A communication pipe allows the amount of electrolytic solution fed into the anode tank to flow into the cathode tank, and via the electrolytic solution in the communication pipe, electric conduction becomes possible between the anode and the cathode. An amount of gas generated by an electrolysis reaction inside the anode tank is discharged to the outside of the anode tank via the gas extraction pipe together with the aeration air. The electrolytic solution introduced into the cathode tank is discharged continuously.

摘要: A method for producing chlorine dioxide with single-liquid electrolysis, wherein chlorine dioxide is generated by performing electrolysis by supplying a direct current to an electrolyte solution in a separating-membraneless electrolytic cell having a cathode and an anode, the method includes: (a) a step of generating chlorine dioxide by performing electrolysis by supplying the direct current to the electrolyte solution, which contains an alkali chloride, an alkali chlorite and a pH adjusting agent, wherein a pH of the electrolyte solution is 4 to 8; (b) a step of supplying a replenishing electrolyte solution, containing the alkali chloride, the alkali chlorite, and the pH adjusting agent, to the electrolytic cell during the electrolysis; and (c) a step of taking out the generated chlorine dioxide from the electrolyte solution.

摘要: Light from a semiconductor light-emitting element travels in all directions. Thus, light that travels in the directions other than a lighting direction cannot be used effectively. Means for forming a semiconductor light-emitting element having tilted side surfaces, and forming a reflective layer on the tilted side surfaces has been proposed. However, since the tilted surfaces are formed by an etching method or the like, it takes a long time to form the tilted surfaces, and it is difficult to control the tilted surfaces. As a solution to these problems, semiconductor light-emitting elements are placed on a submount substrate and sealed with a sealant, and then a groove is formed in a portion between adjoining ones of the semiconductor light-emitting elements. The grooves formed are filled with a reflective material, and a light-emitting surface is polished. Then, the submount substrate is divided into individual semiconductor light-emitting devices. Thus, a semiconductor light-emitting device having a reflective layer on its side surfaces can be obtained.

摘要: A low-temperature firable ceramic substrate having formed in its inside a ferrite layer with a coil embedded therein is provided. The ferrite layer has a composition of 63 to 73% by mass of Fe2O3, 5 to 10% by mass of CuO, 5 to 12% by mass of NiO, and 10 to 23% by mass of ZnO. Even if firing is performed at a lower temperature than ever, it is possible to obtain a ferrite layer which is excellent in sintered density and magnetic permeability.
