Abstract: This battery pack is provided with a housing, a case, a battery cell, a sealing material and a spacer. The case includes a lid member fixed to the housing so as to close a through-hole in the housing. The lid member is bolted to a through-hole peripheral part of the housing. When the internal pressure of the case rises, part of the lid member deforms in a direction away from the through-hole peripheral part, releasing the internal pressure of the case. The battery cell is accommodated inside of the case. The sealing material is arranged between the lid member and the through-hole peripheral part so as to ensure the air-tightness of the case. The spacer is arranged between the lid member and the through-hole peripheral part so as to maintain the interval between the lid member and the through-hole peripheral part.

Abstract: A battery module is provided and includes a plurality of rechargeable batteries and a battery cover, wherein the rechargeable batteries are disposed adjacent to each other, each of the rechargeable batteries has a battery case having a wall portion equipped with an open valve that is constructed so as to open when the inner pressure of the battery case rises up to a threshold value, and the battery cover faces the wall portion. The battery cover has a plurality of cover members provided side by side in a direction toward which the rechargeable batteries are disposed adjacent to each other. The cover members include at least adjacent first and second cover members. The first cover member has a first edge portion and the second cover member has a second edge portion overlapped with the first edge portion.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a case and a battery module including secondary cells. Each secondary cell includes a primary surface and a secondary surface. The primary surface includes a terminal, and an inter-cell flow passage is formed between adjacent ones of the secondary cells. A primary flow passage is defined between the primary surfaces and a wall surface of the case that faces the primary surfaces. A secondary flow passage is defined between the secondary surfaces and the wall surface of the case that faces the secondary surfaces. One of the primary flow passage and the secondary flow passage functions as a supply passage that supplies a heat medium to the inter-cell flow passage. The other one of the primary flow passage and the secondary flow passage functions as a discharge passage to which the heat medium is discharged from the inter-cell flow passage.

Abstract: A power storage device includes a power storage module, a conductive plate, and a sealing member. The power storage module includes an electrode laminate and a sealing body. The sealing body includes a plurality of resin portions. Metal plates at laminate ends of the electrode laminate each have an exposed surface exposed from the resin portion. The exposed surface includes a contact region and a non-contact region. The sealing member includes a first sealing portion. The first sealing portion is provided along an inner edge of the resin portion to be in contact with the resin portion. The first sealing portion adheres to the conductive plate and the non-contact region and fills a portion between the conductive plate and the non-contact region. The first sealing portion seals a portion between the conductive plate and the exposed surface.
