The piston rods (17) are seated on three eccentric disks (25), likewise displaced 120.degree. with respect to one another, on the crankshaft (21). Gas exchange takes place through piston-controlled ports (51, 53) of the cylinders (13). In the gas-exchange path of the ports (51, 53) rotary slide valve control arrangements (57), which optionally control gas exchange together with the piston-controlled ports (51, 53), are provided on at least the exhaust side. Gas intake may take place through rotary slide valve controls, or through an intake channel terminating in a crankshaft chamber of the cylinder rotor (5) and connected with the intake ports by overflow channels. In an internal combustion engine, a blower driven by a variable-speed motor may be provided for control of the degree of filling of the combustion chambers (37).

    摘要: The multi-coordinate sensing gauge of the invention comprises a sensing arm 7 displaceable relative to a housing 3 in the direction of a main coordinate axis 5 and guided on the housing 3 to be omnidirectionally pivotable about a first pivot point 19 located on the said main coordinate axis 5 by means of a first universal joint 13. A linkage arm 23 is coaxially connected to the sensing arm 7 and the end of said linkage arm which is away from the first universal joint 13 is omnidirectionally pivotable by a second universal joint 25 about a second pivot point 27 and is connected to a drive element 29. The drive element 29 in turn is guided on the housing 3 so as to be omnidirectionally pivotable about a third pivot point 33 by a third universal joint 31 displaceable along the main coordinate axis 5. The drive element 29 comprises an annular shoulder 51 facing away from the first pivot point 19 and enclosing the main coordinate axis 5 resting against an opposite annular shoulder 45, also enclosing the main coordinate axis 5, of a coupling 41 displaceable inside the housing 3. A dial indicator gaige 11 measures the excursion of the coupling 41. By suitably dimensioning the distances between the pivot points, the radial displacement of the sensing tip 9 of the sensing arm 7 on one hand and the axial displacement of the sensing tip 9 shall result in equally large displacements of the coupling 41.

    摘要: A harvester displaceable along the ground in a transport direction determined by a steering mechanism itself operated by a controller has a sensor formed of a pair of sensor arms pivotal on the harvester about pivot axes spaced apart transverse to the harvester transport direction. These arms are biased into a position extending normally toward and in line with each other and have inner ends which overlap so that displacement of the chassis of the harvester along the ground will bring crop into engagement with these arms and deflect them backwardly. Each of the arms is connected to a potentiometer and these potentiometers are wired in series such that as the one arm is deflected backwardly the resistance of its potentiometer increases and as the other arm is deflected backwardly the resistance of its potentiometer decreases. These potentiometers are connected in series and to the automatic controller of the device which only generates a deviation signal and feeds it to the steering mechanism when the sum of the resistances of the two potentiometers varies from a predetermined set point.

The filter band (5) is wrapped around a curved supporting area (7) of a fixed supporting member (3) at an angle of wrap of preferably approximately 180°, and is guided on both sides of the curved supporting area (7) in planar supporting areas (15, 17) which lie tangentially and flush against the curved supporting area (7). To reduce the kinetic resistance of the filter band (5), the curved supporting area (7) and at least partly the planar supporting areas (15, 17) are provided with channels (25) extending in the direction of transport of the filter band (5). The plastic material to be cleaned is supplied via a feeding chamber (23) surrounding the supporting area, and after it has been cleaned, is removed via connecting ducts (27, 35) extending from the channels (25). On the outlet side of the cleaning device the filter band (5) passes through a cleaning solution (67). In this way, the filter band can be reused. The proposed cleaning device is compact and allows for relatively large effective filtering surfaces.

    摘要: A standing-crop harvester has a chassis adapted to be displaced along the ground in a transport direction and carrying a pair of guide wheels which are normally controlled from a steering wheel. A sensor carried on an arm in front of the machine detects the edge of a swath in a standing crop and generates an output which varies the impedance of one element of a bridge circuit. Another element of this bridge circuit has its impedance varied in accordance with inclination of the harvester on the ground, another element is varied in accordance with the speed of the harvester on the ground, and a fourth element is varied in accordance with the position of the wheels of the harvester relative to the direction of travel. A zerovoltage detector connected across this bridge operates an electromechanical valve which steers the vehicle automatically, compensating for inclination of the ground under the harvester and speed of the harvester along the ground, and using the feedback signal from the wheel positions so as to accurately guide the harvester along the edge of the swath. The steering wheel is provided with an electrical capacitative sensor which shuts off the automatic steering system immediately when the operator touches the wheel so that he can readily take over manual operation of the machine. In addition a double check valve is provided between the power steering system and the hydraulic cylinder serving to steer the wheel so as to prevent rotation of the steering wheel when the automatic pilot is in operation.
