    摘要： A device and method of delivering a medical tool which may be a memory resector, cutter, probe, or the like, including a memory blade compacted in a small diameter state which expands in a relaxed memory state is disclosed. Said delivery may include using a hollow sheath to pre-compact or preload a memory blade into a compact position, transferring said compacted memory blade into a cannula, and deploying said memory blade from the distal end of said cannula whereby the memory blade returns to its normal expanded memory state.

    摘要： A device and method of delivering a medical tool which may be a resector, cutter, probe, or the like, including a memory arm compacted in a small diameter state which expands in a relaxed memory state, is disclosed. Said delivery may include using a hollow sheath to pre-compact or preload a memory blade into a compact position, transferring said compacted memory blade into a cannula, and deploying said memory blade from the distal end of said cannula whereby the memory blade returns to its normal expanded memory state and a deployment nut can be used to control the extension or the withdrawal of the memory arm and blade.

    摘要： A torque-limiting device may include a shaft extending axially through upper and lower shanks and a spring to connect to a nut. The upper and lower shanks may be under a force from the spring and further configured to selectively engage within a predetermined torque limit and disengage at above the predetermined torque limit. Accordingly, the shaft may receive torque up to the predetermined limit as provided by a user operating a handle of the torque-limiting device. The torque-limiting device may be disposable, reusable, economical, and have high torque capabilities. The shaft may include a lumen extending there through, and through which a variety of devices and materials may be delivered to a workpiece.

An asymmetrical alignment via a latch and catch between the sleeve and tool collar orients a flexible hinge, which may be of reduced thickness, over a bearing in a guide. The bearing moves upward when a tool is inserted into a tool socket, and the flexible hinge, properly oriented by the alignment catch/latch, keeps the bearing in the tool socket while allowing necessary movement to insert and remove a tool.

    摘要： A torque-limiting driver is disclosed, having a handle, a body, a torque-limiting assembly and a work-piece engaging tip. The torque-limiting assembly includes an upper and lower shank that have a plurality of teeth circumferentially spaced. The teeth have a vertical face, an inclined face, and a flat peak. There is a spring for applying pressure across the upper and lower shank with multiple washers interposed between the lower shaft and spring. In some instances, there is a round-square drive with arched catches having preselected radii to assure operation over certain cycles at selected torque and to reduce nose cone damage and breakage at a predetermined measurement of inch-pounds of torque.
