    摘要: Artificial neuron apparatus includes first and second resistive memory cells. The first resistive memory cell is connected in first circuitry having a first input and output. The second resistive memory cell is connected in second circuitry having a second input and output. The first and second circuitry are operable in alternating read and write phases to apply a programming current to their respective memory cells on receipt of excitatory and inhibitory neuron input signals, respectively. During the write phase, resistance of the respective cells is changed in response to successive excitatory and inhibitory neuron input signals. During the read phase, a read current is applied to their respective cells to produce first and second measurement signals, respectively. An output circuit connected to the first and second outputs produces a neuron output signal at a neuron output when a difference between the first and second measurement signals traverses a threshold.

    摘要: A bolometer device for use in a bolometer array. The bolometer device of the present invention measures radiation-induced temperature and includes a bolometer sensor and at least one holding element. The bolometer sensor includes at least two antenna elements. The antenna elements are coupled together with one of their ends at a center position. The bolometer sensor also includes a temperature sensing element attached at the center position of the at least two antenna elements, and detects a temperature at the center position. The temperature sensing element also provides an electrical measure in response to the temperature it detects. The holding elements provide support for the bolometer sensor at an end portion of one of the antenna elements. At least one of the holding elements is made of electrically conductive material so an electrical measure can be read out through the holding element.

The circuit comprises a calibration capacitor for providing at an upper terminal of the calibration capacitor the calibration voltage. Each switching capacitor is coupled to one connecting node connecting two of the N switches.     摘要: A novel and useful THz radiation detector comprising a suspended wideband planar skirt antenna for achieving low thermal mass and high electrical performance. The antenna comprises only the perimeter or “skirt” of the antenna. The antenna has multiple loops where each loop comprises a conductor that covers the perimeter or skirt and includes multiple inner and outer arms. The total length of each loop has a length substantially one wavelength. One or more ports or load impedances are connected at the center of the antenna and shared by one or more loops. A thermal sensor detects the heat generated in the load resister and converts the heat energy to an electrical signal which is transmitted to read out circuitry via signal lines that run together with a holding arm. The holding arm functions as both a path for the read out signals as well as providing mechanical support for and effectively suspending the antenna.
