    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method includes: A first network element sends at least one piece of check content to a second network element, where the check content indicates an abnormal event that causes a fault of a second network; and the first network element receives at least one check result from the second network element, where the check result indicates whether the abnormal event occurs in the second network. In this way, the first network element can obtain the check result detected by the second network element based on the check content, to determine a fault root cause.     Abstract: This application provides a method for enabling an intent and an apparatus. The method includes: A first network element obtains first information, where the first information indicates at least one intent, and the at least one intent is all intents that conflict with a first intent.     Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus to separate control information and data information in a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) protocol stack on a concentrator in order to improve data transmission efficiency. The data transmission method includes that a concentrator of a first device generates a first TCP packet based on first data that needs to be sent by a collector of the first device to a second device, where a payload of the first TCP packet is empty, the first TCP packet includes indication information, and the indication information instructs the collector to generate a second TCP packet based on the first TCP packet. The concentrator sends the first TCP packet to the collector. The collector generates the second TCP packet based on the first TCP packet and sends the second TCP packet to the second device.

In one example method, an element management system (EMS) receives a first intent from a network management system (NMS). The first intent indicates the EMS to execute a first command on a first network element and execute a second command on a second network element, a second intent in an active state is maintained in the EMS, the second intent indicates the EMS to execute a third command on the first network element, and the first command and the third command are mutually exclusive.
