Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose provides a low density parity check (LDPC) channel encoding method for use in a wireless communications system. A communication device encodes an input bit sequence by using a LDPC matrix, to obtain an encoded bit sequence for transmission. The LDPC matrix is obtained based on a lifting factor Z and a base matrix. Embodiments of the application provide eight particular designs of the base matrix. The encoding method provided in the embodiments of the application can be used in various communications systems including the fifth generation (5G) telecommunication systems, and can support various encoding requirements for information bit sequences with different code lengths.

Abstract: This application discloses a transmission method, a transmission apparatus, and a communications device. The transmission method includes: performing polar encoding on a bit sequence, to obtain an encoded sequence, where the bit sequence includes control information and a cyclic redundancy check CRC sequence; fragmenting the encoded sequence, to obtain n encoded subsequences, where n is an integer, and n>0; and scrambling the n encoded subsequences by using n scrambling sequences respectively, to obtain n scrambled sequences. In the transmission method, the n scrambling sequences are newly defined based on encoding and decoding features of a polar code, and the n scrambling sequences additionally carry ┌log2n┐-bit information. According to the foregoing encoding method, signaling overheads are reduced.

Abstract: An encoding method, an encoding apparatus, a decoding method, and a decoding apparatus are provided. The encoding method includes: determining a size of a shift matrix based on a length of an information sequence and a length of an identifier sequence; constructing a check matrix based on the size of the shift matrix and a base matrix; and performing low-density parity-check LDPC encoding on the information sequence and the identifier sequence based on the check matrix. The identifier sequence is a non-all-zero sequence. Because the encoded codeword includes information of the identifier sequence, a receive device can identify whether information corresponding to the encoded codeword is addressed to the receive device, thereby improving information processing efficiency in the transmission.

Abstract: This application provides a polar code encoding and decoding method and apparatus and a device. An example method includes: sequentially configuring, by a sending device, information bits and first check bits on subchannels in a first subchannel set, and configuring frozen bits on subchannels in a second subchannel set, where the subchannels in the first subchannel set are sorted according to a natural order of serial numbers of the subchannels; and performing polarization encoding on bits on the subchannels to obtain an encoded sequence. In this way, encoding efficiency and decoding efficiency are improved.

Abstract: A rate matching method for a polar code is provided, to improve performance. The method includes: encoding, based on an N*N encoding matrix of a polar code, a sequence including N first bits, to generate a mother code including N second bits, where the N first bits are in a one-to-one correspondence with N rows in the encoding matrix in sequence, and the N second bits are in a one-to-one correspondence with N columns in the encoding matrix in sequence; determining N−M to-be-punctured second bits from the N second bits, where at least one first bit in N−M first bits participating in encoding of the N−M second bits belongs to the first M first bits in the N first bits, and the N−M first bits are fixed bits; and puncturing the N−M second bits, to obtain a target polar code including M second bits.
