Abstract:
Water-soluble monoazo compounds according to the general formula (1) below having valuable fiber-reactive dyestuff properties which dye carboxamido- and/or hydroxy-containing materials, in particular cellulose fibers, in fast yellow to orange hues. ##STR1## in which the symbols denote: M is hydrogen or an alkali metal,R.sup.1 is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, chlorine, bromine, carboxy or sulfo,R.sup.2 is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, chlorine, or bromine,R is carboxy or lower carbalkoxy,n is the number zero or 1,X and Y independently of each other are each .beta.-thiosulfatoethyl or .beta.-sulfatoethyl or vinyl, however, in the case of X and/or Y being equal to vinyl the index n must be 1.
Abstract:
Disazo dyestuffs containing sulfo groups and having fiber-reactive properties, which are capable of dyeing materials containing hydroxyl groups and/or carboxamide groups, in particular fiber materials, such as synthetic polyamide fibers, wool and in particular cellulose fiber materials, in deep fast shades. They contain a group corresponding to the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup..alpha. is hydrogen or alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, which can be substituted by carboxyl, sulfo, cyano, hydroxyl or chlorine;B is fluorine, chlorine, bromine, lower alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, methoxy or sulfo;Q is a group of the formula ##STR2## in which Y is vinyl, .beta.-sulfatoethyl, .beta.-halogenoethyl, .beta.-thiosulfatoethyl, .beta.-phosphatoethyl or .beta.-acetoxyethyl,R is hydrogen or lower alkyl,k is the number zero to 4 andX, together with the N atom, forms the bivalent radical of a heterocyclic ring which optionally contains additional hetero atoms.
Abstract:
Monoazo compounds conforming to the general formula (1) shown and defined hereinafter have very good fiber-reactive dye properties and dye hydroxy- and/or carboxamido-containing material, in particular fiber material, such as wool and in particular cellulose fibers, in strong fast shades. ##STR1## where the symbols have the following meanings: D is a benzene or naphthalene ring or a heterocyclic radical,R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently of the other hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, halogen, carboxy or sulfo,Z is a fiber-reactive grouping bonded to D either directly or via a bridge member,m stands for the number 1 or 2, preferably 1,R is alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms which may be substituted for example by halogen, such as bromine and in particular chlorine, hydroxy, cyano, sulfo, carboxy, sulfato or phosphato, or is phenyl which may be substituted, for example by 1 or 2 substituents from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, chlorine, sulfo and carboxy, or is carboxy, carbamoyl or carbalkoxy of 2 to 5 carbon atoms,n stands for the number 2 or 3.
Abstract:
Water-soluble azo compounds, preparation thereof and use thereof as dyesThere are described monoazo compounds conforming to the formula (1) ##STR1## which are used as dyes having fiber-reactive properties for preparing strong, red, fast dyeings and prints on hydroxy- and/or carboxamido-containing material, in particular fiber material, such as wool and synthetic polyamide fibers and in particular cellulose fibers, such as cotton. In the formula (1):M is hydrogen or an alkali metal; R.sup.1 is hydrogen or sulfo; R.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, sulfo, hydroxy, halogen or carboxy; R.sup.3 is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms; Y is vinyl or is ethyl which contains in the .beta.-position a substituent which is eliminable with alkali to form a vinyl group; p is 1 or 2; the one --SO.sub.3 M group is attached to the naphthalene ring para or meta to the amino group.
